Physicians Premier Emergency Room - Portland, TX

Took my son after he fell at the local splash pad and hurt his finger. They did xrays and he did have a fractured finger. They referred us to a specialist in Corpus but did put a splint on his finger. Another occasion my daughter was coughing non-stop and she tested positive for RSV. They gave her a steroid medication and the coughing stopped. The staff is super friendly as well.

I went to this place at 1-2 am in the morning and everyone was so nice and took me to the back so fast. I suffered a dog bite wound to the right wrist and it was hard for me to fill out paperwork so the registration nurse helped me and filled it out for me.i was so grateful for everyone that helped me out.thank you so much!

I went here for a quick treatment. The staff was amazing. Taken in quick and treated super well. The RN nurse was the best ever. (Tracy)

Wonderful assistance and staff. Very helpful, caring and supportive to my needs and issue coming in for. Assured me of what needed to be done and how to treat it. Dr. Cantu was very nice, professional and helpful. Monica who took care of me, talked w me and gave me my injection was very sweet, funny and made sure I was taken care of. I’ve been here before for other issue and everyone from front desk to back desk have always been amazing.

My GOD I usually come here when I can't breathe and I'm in the worse pain ever. The pain management Physcian Dr. Yu Gregory and instead of this doctor giving me oxygen to breathe and something for level 10 Pain plus I was dehydrated. Ifelt like i was dying. That. Emergency room doctor and the nurses and technicians normally help to breathe and stop my acute pain. They know my illnesses are very serious. He discredited his Fellow doctors that work there as to the way they help me by giving me oxygen and managing my pain while I'm there and i go home. The simple fact this doctor took it upon himself to tell me that he was going over all my previous visits and mind you I'm struggling for air chest hurt and couldn't speak or walk and no orders for blood work or EKG. This doctor also went to discredited the other Physcians way they treat me. Because he was a pain management here his Word ruled all experiences with the other Doctors. I have a good repore with the nurses and they know the routinevery well with me. Dr Yu told nurses not give me air or IV and no pain meds. But while I was excruciating pain this man wanted to prescribe me medication.that wouldn't work for about 3 weeks.my husband was upset because this Dr Yu followed us outside. I couldn't breathe and my breathing got worsened so my husband took me to the car to drive me to another ER Instead. Dr. Yu Gregory came outside to our car and the temperature was very hot.he was asking us to stay to Wait on a urine sample. I insisted on having becauseI was in pain all over I was to tenced to urinate. I was in so much pain I was not able to urinate, breathe or talk to fight for myself. I was grinding teeth so much that I couldn't eat the next couple of days and I was screaming from the pains. Doctor's that have Empathy and Compassion directly connects me to faculty and I am not happy with the last visit at all with the Healthcare out here It could be better. Monica is the best at getting a vain no matter what color skin your in!

I want to thank all the staff at Premier! They were there for me as soon as I walked in there door. I was on deaths door due to platelets dropping to 3000. They were so caring and on top of it all. They even called a few times and checked on me after I was admitted into the hospital. Thank you all so much. Much love Julie

This location is always friendly and very professional. Your health is their priority. The staff is always smiling and make you feel important.

My sister n law and I visited on Memorial Day because we had 100’s of Chigger bites on our legs. We were so thankful that y’all were open to help us. Dr Lowry and the staff were so amazing! Also, the severe itching was gone later that day! I highly recommend this clinic!

When it comes to blood draws or starting IVs, I am a very very hard poke. Nurse Alex was amazing and got me on the first poke which does not happen often. Good Job! She was also very friendly.

The nurse was absolutely amazing. She was very professional about showing me the tools I needed to help my breathing. Dr Hopper was very nice and professional. The x-ray tech was wonderful. My experience was great and has always been great when my husband and I have gone there.

I was seen right away, they took real good care of me, I started feeling better after 2 days of taking my medication. Everyone was patient with me and very polite! Thank you all again!

I went for an evaluation I was on a school function from out of town. Excellent service! All staff was very friendly and very helpful. The Doctor took his time to explain everything. I would go again if I’m in the area.
