Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar - Magnolia, Fort Worth TX

I have been here twice and had awful experiences each time.
The first- we made a reservation and had to split a 4 person table with another couple that they just moved the table 2 inches apart. Took so long to get someone to come take our order that we debated on leaving.
The second time- I called while we were 2 minutes away asking if they had a wait, they said no wait at the moment. We showed up and then they suddenly had a 30 minute wait. The hostess was very rude and we just walked out.

I would love to experience their food, but because of the awful service I will not be coming back or ever recommending this restaurant.

The food was flavorful and fresh. Everything had its own unique spin. If you are looking for a great place to take the family or friends I highly recommend Pie Tap on Magnolia in Fort Worth.

Got the prosciutto pizza during happy hour and was NOT disappointed! $14 pies and half off drinks during happy hour make this an obvious stop for an early dinner. Awesome service as well!

Hands down the best Prosciutto pie ever. Great spot to hand and enjoy the rest of your day.

Pizza was great! One of the best pizza's in Fort Worth. I prefer a family type experience as opposed to a bar. This was more like a bar with a restaurant and not for small children. Very nice place and I will return for lunch.

Really good! This video was of the kids cheese pizza, wish I would of captured photos of everything else but I ordered the chicken sandwich and salad combo they offer around lunch time, it was also so good! We will be back, probably 2x/week

Nice, clean, rustic warehouse type building with basic variety of pizzas that are common and classic, and then they had mostly more eclectic type pizzas. If you are not into those, then you would probably not like this place that much.

Great food, service and atmosphere. The pizza was incredible and the lasagna was the best we’ve had in years! They even offer dipping sauce for your pizza bones.

I was sold when the Parmesan block of cheese was grated over our fresh pizza!
Will definitely be back to enjoy the happy hour cocktails!

Little late on this review so forgive me for not remembering the name of this delicious sandwich.

All I know is it was the specialty sandwich. I also know that is all I will be ordering there going forward. It was so good I don’t see how any other meal there could be better. To top it off the lemonade is to die for. They cover the lemons with honey I believe and roast them. Then they squeeze them, add rosemary and some sort of sorcery. I might actually go there tomorrow now that I think of it lol.

Food was amazing. Everything was perfect and be sure to ask for John. He was excellent and was very professional.

I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Jennifer, regarding my previous experience at this restaurant. She proactively reached out and helped to rectify the situation.

I was so glad that we gave this restaurant another try. This time, the service was superb and everyone was so friendly. I ended up having an appetizer (hummus) and the best Margherita Pizza I have had in long time! Pie Tap will now be my go-to for great food and drinks.

My review is based on two in-person visits and two to-go orders. I have to say, I am obsessed with their in-house dough, I have to seriously ration myself after purchasing a loaf of their scratch-made bread.
We’ve had brunch there twice, and I really enjoyed my cocktail, however the prosecco on tap wasn’t very “bubbly, ” it was somewhat flat. My hubby had to order a froze, ’ which hasn’t quite set up yet, so our kind waitress comp’d him another drink.
Our food was all on point; he getting the chicken sandwich and I got the egg breakfast. The next visit, my son got the gluten free pie, which was really good, I got the egg breakfast again and we started with garlic knots, which we loved. My breakfast had to go back because it had sat under the heat lamp too long, cooking my over-easy eggs and turning my bread into croutons. I think the restaurant was just working out the service kinks in these instances, because the food is truly amazing, and you don’t get the scratch-made bread just an anywhere. I would like to add the staff quickly, kindly, and patiently made corrections and removed from bill. I am a satisfied customer and will keep going!

First time visit. Wasn't art enough to take pics. The food was good and I would return to try more things. Great beer selection. The Iguana gives it 7 claws for the first visit.

The staff was amazing and accommodated us for birthday dinner reservations. Lucy the server was the most patient and nicest server that I have ever encountered, in my 40 years of life on this planet.

The food and service are always excellent at Pie Tap. We usually sit at the bar and have really enjoyed the food and drinks. Happy hour is great. You can’t beat the drink and pizza specials. All of their dough, pasta, etc.is made fresh daily in house. The goat cheese fondue is out of this world. Also do yourself a favor and try the chocolate cake!

Our first visit, we went in on a Saturday evening and the restaurant had been reserved by a large TCU watching party. We chose to sit at the bar, which was fine and the bartender was very attentive. We ordered pizza and pasta bolognese, along with two drinks. The food took a while to come out, but we were enjoying the ambiance and our amazing drinks, along with the football games showing on all the TVs. The bartender kept us up to date on our food, and refreshed with our beverages. When the food did come out, it was absolutely incredible. Fresh ingredients, super flavorful. I think Pie Tap may be one of our new pizza/pasta favorites! Highly recommend.

The dough is made fresh in front of you and cooked on a wood oven. The food was just fantastic. The drinking menu includes a wide variety of beers and cocktails with daily specials. I took advantage of the specials with a 5.00 Bloody Mary’s and it was delicious. The restaurant is very family friendly as well. I highly recommend this spot.
