Elva cuts my son and daughter’s hair and she does an amazing job on both.
My daughter has curly hair which can sometimes be hard to cut but it always looks great!
My son is scared of sitting up high in a chair right now he’s 3 and worked with us to make him more comfortable during his appointment.

Elva was awesome! She was so kind and patient with our little one. Her warm personality really played well with my daughter and allowed us to get her haircut easily! Fun and engaging environment for young children.

She botched my sons hair. This thing took over an hour. If I could give 0 stars I could. She did not even use a dryer and my son had hair ALL OVER his face in his eyes ears neck, everything! This is horrible service. Unfortunately our location in bee cave was closed and we went here. Do not go here! I am just heartbroken for this botched hair! I would not pay one cent for this! Avoid at all cost! This person does not know how to cut a child’s hair. If you are the owner I have pictures for you!

I loved this place I had been here once already and had a great experience and this time was not any different I finally found someone who could cut my son's hair the way we had requested at Cookie Cutters put the hairstylist refused to even attempt the haircut. Our hairstylist was very patient with my son and had an amazing attitude I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

We absolutely love, Elva and her adorable salon. Our son has lots of thick hair and she cuts it better than anyone ever has. She is so sweet and talented. We couldn’t recommend Pigtails and Crewcuts a Belterra more highly and will continue to be loyal customers!

Today was the second time Elva cut my 5yo and 3yo boy’s hair. The first was their first haircuts and they were afraid and ended up crying in my lap for the entire haircuts. After she finished they both said it wasn’t so bad. Elva was so patient, calm, and kind through the somewhat traumatic cuts. We went back today and my 5yo sat in the fire truck and she gave him a great haircut and made him feel safe with the scissors and trimmers. My 3yo sat in my lap again, but he was very calm. Again Elva was incredibly patient and kind. Thank you!

Elva does a great job on our very squirmy toddler! We’ve been 3 or 4 times now and each time they are friendly, fast, and do a good job. Once he was too squirmy to finish so we came back and she took care of the rest of his cut. The fire truck seat is our son’s favorite. And the lollipop at the end. The online appointment is easy to make.

The haircut was good but $24.95 for a 10 minute cut is pretty expensive. May need to start doing a kids cut at home. There was only 1 stylist to cut hair so I had a little bit of a wait too

Great place for kids to get haircuts and adults too. The stylists are fun and great with kids they work well with all styles and have great products up for sale.

Elva rocks! Super accomodating and was so calm and sweet despite my toddler moving everywhere - love her!

Janelle and her helper were so much fun and did a great job at making my toddler’s first haircut a nice experience! I was a little worried that my daughter would be scared, but they let her pick out her own chair and cape, blew some bubbles, and put on her favorite movie so that it was a fun time for her! I was honestly expecting that they were only going to do a very simple trim, but Janelle suggested and ended up doing an adorable layered haircut on my daughter that took no time at all.

Even before the haircut, my kids got to play in a cute playroom full of toys and a TV which kept them from getting too restless. Also, their service for kids’ first haircuts come with a picture and some locks of hair as a keepsake!

Overall, AWESOME place and absolutely recommend!

I have retyped this ten times because I can’t explain enough how amazing our experience was. The way our stylist made the whole process fun and not scary for our toddlers 2nd cut ever when she was nervous and then to step by step explain to our special needs kiddo what was happening and helped him get through each step, due to his extreme sensory issues, was incredible. I’ve never found a place quite this special and I’m so glad that we did!

My daughter got her hair done for prom and the hair do was wonderful and so was the stylist Elva please do reach out to her for all your hair needs

I drive from Buda because the service is great, the value is great, and my kids enjoy getting their haircut here. Quick and easy. Highly recommend.

Leslie is always very kind and patient with my toddler who is afraid of haircuts, and she does a great job!
