The food is really great and tasty! Pinch is very supportive of UT students and loves to work with student organizations. We will definitely frequently eat at Pinch in the future!

Dont order the chicken curry, it doesn’t have the chicken. I count the chicken lol. It was only 4 little half tiny pieces with a pound of rice. Total ripoff

Great prices, food is good. Spicy mayo chicken bento is good but may be too spicy for some. Staff is very nice, let me stay in their truck as it started pouring rain.

Says they take online orders but they don’t. I ordered and paid online, drove over there, paid for parking, walked to it, waited in line and was then told they don’t take mobile orders and that door dash would refund me, and if I wanted to order they were going to make me get back in line and wait for like 6 other people to order ahead of me. It’s 2022 ya gotta figure it out ya know

Used to be a favorite lunch spot, it’s been slowly going down hill in terms of quality. They no longer have curry as an option, which was amazing, and now they no longer give the pickled watermelon radish, and half the time they don’t give me the cabbage anymore. The broccoli used to be more tender and is now basically raw. Pretty disappointing considering I had been going here for years.

We originally wanted to go to the food truck next door but it was closed.
Pinch was our 2nd choice but it was actually a nice surprise.

It specializes in Japanese fried chicken bento box, the menu is limited but it allows the kitchen to focus on their ingredients.
I had the spicy mayo chicken bento box, it comes with rice, broccoli, cabbage and radish.

The chicken was super tender, perfectly marinated and fried. The rice is quite dry and the vegetables don't do much to this dish. Overall, I would come back for the chicken and the price, as it was very reasonable.

The food here is delicious, but as much as I would like to enjoy it, I have to leave this review because the chicken can be undercooked, which is very dangerous. My friend got food poisoning here and was sick for several days, so I would not recommend this place unless they actually cook the chicken properly.

Great place to get affordable good food. I worked here and really enjoyed my experience there. The owner really keeps his prices lower so that students can always get a good affordable meal. Seriously there is no we’re else you can get a quality 1500-2000cal meal for $6.

They also always gave to those in need which really went a long way for some

Great place to eat. I ate here yesterday for lunch and great friendly people working there and great tender chicken. They also give a lot of food for the price you cannot beat it as someone with tight funds going through college. Will be visiting again!

March 11th was my first time there. The food was sooo tasty! Not enough sauce to be honest but they gave me a little more on the side. The food was hot and fresh. They gave me a lot more chicken than what I was expecting and the pieces of chicken were pretty big! I got a teriyaki bento box and my boyfriend got the spicy mayo bento. I personally liked the teriyaki a lot more. It wasn’t too pricey, you get your money’s worth. Definitely a good replacement for Don’s (rip). Highly impressed with everything.

Great food and quantity. Prices are not high at all. Place had fast service. We had the fried chicken with teriyaki sauce on the side. It was a major hit with my wife and kids. I had the curry beef which was sweet and delicious.

Lastly, they catered to our allergies which are dairy, eggs, and gluten.

Pro tip: only food truck open during longhorn games. Woot woot, hook em!
