PJ's Coffee, Palmview TX

So selfish we came in Sunday and arrived 1 minute late it was 8: 01 they didn’t want to sell coffee the girl and guy because they said the owner is strict. I don’t think so … because owners want a happy client. But no we insisted and they didn’t want to serve!

I ordered a scone and a late and both were very good. THe service was great and very clean business.

Their coffee is hands down the best coffee & their staff is so kind. They have pup cups too.

Great customer service. This place is a great place to enjoy delicious coffee. Free internet is plus.

Pjs is slacking off, so early in the morning and they don’t have a lot of items in stock this happens often so upsetting. Can’t wait for Reserva to open.

Slow, aloof, less than helpful staff. Over priced poorly made coffee that was equal parts burnt, acidic, and harsh. I ordered a Cafe Au Lait and I got notes of grass, rancid oil, and lemon (these are all unwanted). The astingency was so high it was undrinkable, and I tossed it into the bin.

Why does coffee have to be so pretentioius.it's just coffee.it's not difficult to make, and make incredibly well.

If you're someone that drinks coffee for flavor (not just the caffeine jolt), do yourself, your palate, and your bank account a favor and get coffee somewhere else.

There are, far better coffee options in McAllen, and all over the RGV for that matter.

I read another review where it was mentioned that you are asked for a tip "before" your drink is made. Can confirm. Happened to me. And they are absolutely shameless about it too. Wow.

*Edit and response to PJ's. I reached out to you first both by email and phone. Your "mamager" completely blew me off and took zero responsibility. So I turned to reviews. I won't bother reaching out any further.

The ambient is housewarming and welcoming. The staff is cheerful, helpful, charming and professional - always with a smile on their faces. The product is amazing and delicious. Overall, a must visit location.

Have you ever wanted to work on your improv skills? This is the place! Order a peach tea but pivot as they don't have peach. Order bacon egg and cheese biscuit and they don't have bacon! Order sausage bagel and they don't have bagels! Everytime I visit (four times now) they are out of something, but I keep going so I can stay on my toes!

I visited this location yesterday. We went through the drive-thru. The one that took our order seemed knowledgeable and helpful but she had a very soft voice so it was hard to hear her especially with traffic going by fast. I got a vanilla iced latte and it was pretty good. I got the large size but deep down I wish there was a bigger size because that cup was small and definitely didn’t look like it was 20oz. It did have a good flavor so I may visit again in the future.

I had heard about this place before but never tried it. I was definitely missing out. Had an amazing iced cold mocha drink with oatmilk. Tastes better than a particular national chain of coffee shops.

Visiting from upstate and this place was such a vibe! Quiet but chill and very clean! Aesthetically pleasing in all aspects as well. The drink pictured is a cold brew with cold foam and caramel drizzle that ran around $6.20 for a large. Will definitely stop by again.

We went on 07/31/22 today about 7: 30pm I ordered 2 items and one of them was plain coffe for my wife. But the coffee tasted horrible. She advised one of the workers and the response from the worker was what do you want me to do! It would bin better if she would have offered me anything and said that’s all we have and what do you want me to do with it. Very sarcastic. She did offer a refund but we waited and never carried throw so we just left. Never again. Sad thing my wife would allways go in the mornings to pick coffee up and she liked the item and service before.

Friendly and good service but not very professional. I sat in coffee shop to work, no one one else was in coffee shop but me. Employees talked about employee issues with other employees/management, and "F" bomb used casually. Was distracting.

The iced coffee was really good and the lemon bar was very lemony and delicious. The ladies behind the counter were super nice as well.
