This gym is definitely suited for beginners, unfortunately for those more advanced it might lack the environment that we might be looking for. Good staff nonetheless.

Finally gave in and got my wife a membership here and she has seen more than 3 people at a time without masks despite of a mandatory mask policy, and the employees are not even checking. I will be canceling the membership.

Great staff and facilities, don't really have any complaints for this location. I really like that they have some free weights available and an area that looks like a cross fit section.

Excellent, and very clean/sanitary location. Perfect for working out while social distancing. Couldn't ask for any better. Great employees!

Beware do not go to this location most of the staff appears to be sick I heard them sniffling coughing sneezing throughout my workout I decided to cancel my membership yesterday and was told by an employee that I could only cancel by going in person no consideration for other people i encourage others to stay home it’s not worth it especially if you have kids like me

CLEAN. I like that. Rosie does a great job in that regard. Machine selection is one of the best I have seen at a PF. Excellent staff & well managed. 5 star all around.

A good price for a gym experience that you want with nothing you don't-and they even have a little extra for those who want the premium experience. It's served me well for the half a year I've been going. Best time to go is definitely between 10am and 4pm, if your work or school situation permits it, since you'll have a lot of space to yourself.

Atmosphere is great. Machines are almost always working, but not always available. Wish they had daycare.

Always clean and the staff is friendly. You always see someone cleaning and maintaining the gym. I recommend this to casual gym goers looking to get healthy and fit. The price is great for the gym.

It's been a month since I got my membership and Iove this place. If you know what planet fitness is then you know what you can expect, lots of cardio equipment and a good amount of machines. The gym is clean and the staff are always very nice and willing to help. If you want to get the full experience of the gym the black card is for you.

I give a 5. Gym has a wide variety of brand new equipment, and multiple sets of each machine which is awesome cause you don't have to wait long for a machine. The layout is very convenient. It's not huge but it's in better condition than the other gyms. Their A/C works much better and it certainly has a less "attitude" environment. The locker/bathroom is always clean & well stocked. Employees are very helpful & smile.
It's extremely affordable and billing is standard. $1 to sign up & your checking account is drafted $13 or $23 monthly with an annual fee. Not sure how ppl get into problems with this. The $23 black card service is totally worth it.you can bring a guest daily, 50% off drinks, use massage & tanning services. In comparison I used to pay $30/monthly at Palm Beach Tan when I lived up north just to tan! Yes Brownsville's sunny but tan booths provide a more even, full body tan.
They're good about keeping gym bags & gallon jugs off the floors.but have started letting people wear tank tops, which is fine cause I see nothing wrong with tank tops, they allow you to move your arms around easier. What I wish they would ban is those see-through leggings/tights ppl be wearing. I really dont care to see ALL THAT.it's my only complaint!

I understand that there’s an annual fee, what I don’t understand is why it is non refundable. Every company has a certain number of times you can get a refund & will work with their customers if the fee happens to be at a bad time in their lives. It’s how the company shows they understand & respect the needs of their customers. I was told BY CORPORATE that the refund can happen. They said it’s up to the manager at the location since they are independently run. Well then Manager Elvira is unwilling to work with the customers, has no empathy nor respect for customers & is unwilling to answer the customers questions unless you repeat it to her a million times.

Other than that the other employees.could be better. They are nice, but tend to skip people who’ve been waiting in line for the spa. I had to wait over an hour just because they kept skipping me while I was waiting right in front of the door. (They have a couch in front of the doors) They make you sign in to use it but then don’t pay attention to the order when bringing people inside. Machines there are nice, it’s a small place but has everything I need. (Recovering from surgery)
