Bought a new home in Fulshear and Bret and his Team did an amazing job on the garage floor. Now mind you I was still living in Orlando when the work was done so I had not seen the finished product. Gave Bret the code for the garage door so his Team could get the floor done prior to me relocating. When I opened the garage door and saw the floor for the first time my jaw dropped…. Absolutely beautiful! Attention to detail was on point and I couldn’t be happier!

We had two spaces in our home refloored with epoxy by Platinum. I could not be more pleased with the result and the experience. It was a seamless, calm project that completed our garage spaces in such a beautiful way. I never felt rushed or pushed or pressured. My garage looks so great and I could not be more excited!

I received quotes from 4 other shops around Katy. They were competitively priced, but quality was above their competitors.

I highly recommend this company. We bought a home in Sugar, Land, TX that was built in 1978. The concrete flatwork that had been poured was very poorly done, especially the garage floor. The surface was so rough you couldn't sweep it. In some places, there were cracks so deep that if you dropped something like a pen in them it was hard to get it out. To make matters worse, there was calcified deposits all over which meant there was water coming up from the ground. The owner of Platinum Coatings came out for the estimate. I had two other reputable, long-standing local contractors come and give estimates, but Platinum Coatings was the only one that addressed the water coming up out of the floor. They suggested adding another layer of waterproofing under the slab, which the other contractors said that they didn't offer. The other contractors would only offer a 1-year warranty while Premium gave me a 5-year. The workers came at 0600 am and used a large disc sander, about 4 foot in diameter which the operator sat on like a forklift. With this they sanded the whole slab smooth. Then they applied the first layer which provided an additional 15 PSF of water pressure penetration, on top of the protection from the epoxy topcoat. We had a raised 4" curb on two walls of the garage which they also sanded the face and top of and sanded and rounded off the top edge, also the rounded off where the garage floor met the driveway which was chipped and cracked. The epoxy topcoat layer was poured, and they even did the vertical surface between the bottom of the drywall to where it went down to the slab which was concrete and sometimes as little as one inch and which really made a difference in the appearance. The epoxy we chose had the flakes and was a deep blue gray which really looked great. Final results were nothing short of fantastic. All work was done by mid-afternoon. Platinum's cost was $800 more than the other bids, but the other bids did not include the extra 15 PSF protection and the 5-year warranty on the job. The job was completed two weeks after the initial visit. Another thing I would like to mention is the full range of product/services/colors/surfaces they offer. Even like car dealer showrooms with mirror smooth surfaces and iridescent colors. Would highly recommend this contractor.

Frank and Carlos did a wonderful job installing the epoxy floor. They were on time and worked very hard grinding the concrete to make sure the slab was properly prepared. They repaired various slab deformities and damages to make a smooth, clean finish. They treated my garage as their own and paid attention to all the minor details. The process is very dusty, and they went above and beyond the call to make everything clean as possible. I am thoroughly please with the end result. I would highly recommend Platinum Floor Coatings to any of my family and friends.

I had my garage completed in July 2022. I waited to post my review until I used the space a bit and am very pleased with the outcome. I chose granite flake and whisper grey base. Love it! I have spilled dirt, gas, paint, fertilizer, pool chemicals, etc.and the floor cleans right up like new. Platinum floors were great to work with and the job was completed per plan and price. Wish I would have used them on my other home. If you need it done right with no surprises, give them a call.
