They were nice they didn't take very long to go through my huge laundry bag & when i got my bag back my clothes were tossed in messy and jumbled up like they didn't even try putting it back neatly. Aside from that the employees were chill

That owner does not even look at the clothes dropped 2 big bags and they said it would take 45 min, left the bags and drove off and they called me that my buy was ready. That new owner is just judging people when the walked in. I hope she goes bankrupt and no one sells her anything for being such a B####

DONT NOT WAST YOUR TIME.rude people.not customer service friendly at all! I brought clothes that were brand new with tags on, i brought 200 dollars shoes in as well! The lady that looked through the things obviously don’t know fashion cause she grabbed a total of 4 items and tried to give me 20 dollars TO THE OWNER YOU NEED SOMEONE THATS WILLING TO PUT THEY BEST FOOT FORWARD TO BRING THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEM COINS IN CAUSE RIGHT NOW THATS NOT IT! I went straight to uptown cheapskate and they accepted all my thinks for almost 400 dollars

They took 5 items & offered me 30 dollars, which is fine, but I literally brought a lot of my unworn fashionable female fall wardrobe that I bought and never really wore (because I've been weeding off of wearing female fashion since starting to transition), & a lot of it is nice & cute stuff, so I thought I'd bring a lot of it to a PC instead of just donating it all. I should've gone to the location closer to where I live, because they're really good with grabbing a lot of my clothes (because I literally have a problem with retail therapy - I'll buy stuff in season, then never wear it) but so I was in this area so I thought I'd just stop by here. It really does matter where u take ur clothes to, though, because there was an older white lady who probably doesn't have a very good fashion sense and she literally picked out some of my less cute and older stuff, which is weird to me, but oh well? I made 30 bucks for barely anything so that's nice, but I think they need some younger person doing the appraisals for the clothes.

Don’t try selling or shopping. Their clothes is faded or just not cute. I brought in some nice things and they said that it was “ stained or damaged” ugh no! Their clothes and shoes are faded or old. Like out of style.

THE PRICE OFFER I RECEIVED BUT IT WAS NAME BRAND ITEMS DR MARTENS NEW BOOTS AND NEW ITEMS BUT OVERALL I WAS SUER HAPPY I WENT THERE THANK. YOU FOR EXISTING I REALLY NEEDED THE CASH FOR AURVIVOL MODE AFTER. DRASTIC DV CASE NTHEY HELPED ME ATON. THANK YOU

It was my first time being in Plato's Closet because me and my found two dresses for me the dresses were so cute so we bought them.

Im just going to lv this right here. I took 3 brand new Flare distressed jeans from Charlotte Russ and Shein. Each never worn and had their original retail tickets. I was offered $10.50 in total. So basically $3.50 for each jean, that originally cost $40 each. What a joke, what a waste of time and waste of gas to just b offered peanuts for new garments. I'll have a better outcome online. I couldv been offered $20 for all 3 at the least. Platos closet, get right!

This place buys clothes for teens and young adults. And among like other places sometimes I feel like they are a rip of and others they do great

They took about 1 minute to "look through" my items, which were all still folded in my duffel bag after I picked up, just as they were before.

Something tells me that they judged my buy based on my physical appearance, which is not surprising given the rather obvious lack of diversity in their employee team in a city with such a high percentage of highly melanated inhabitants.

Skip this place altogether and go elsewhere.

Gave them brand new clothes with the tag still on it and they said “we’re not accepting because of wear and tear”. Their attitudes and behavior was very rude and it was some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. One of the workers asked for a yellow slip that I was never given and said “we did give you that slip and we’re going to need it. ” 10/10 do not recommend going here.

I can see that my review was removed because I spoke the truth. So I’m going to rephrase it this time, but this time I will screenshot. I took some items there today…not really expecting a lot of cash but, more than what they offered. I was told they picked items based on what young adults are wearing or styles that are trending at the time. Most of my items had tags on them the items they chose to keep was a black patent leather top and pants set and a fake leather skirt they offer me nine dollars and some change? Would have felt better if my other items were at least were looked at…not sure how their choosing method is but I can say this place does not check all your items. I had things they hadn’t even opened to look at in my bag, if they did I want to know what it was that they saw. What I saw on the rack were not styles for young adults or styles that are trending (not describing the details of the condition of the items that’s probably what got my comment removed earlier) I feel they pick and choose what they want and who they want to help, again just my opinion, just giving my review I gave two stars because the young ladies in the facility were respectful. I drove here because I made a phone call and talk to a young lady because I was telling her about their location in Cedar Hill, about them showing me a list of the things they only are taking, She went on telling me about it was under new ownership and they do things differently in Cedar Hill than they do in Arlington She also told me she couldn’t tell me over the phone about my items because she couldn’t see them but stated they have a list also but they’re all seasonal and they collect clothes for all year, and I had a good chance they would take my items, I wouldn’t have made the trip all the way over there if I was just going to be treated with discrimination. Unless you’re a long time familiar customer or just want to give away your things then I recommend

I drop clothes off and they tell me they were old and out dated they didn’t even look at the clothes at all they tell u to drop it off they only had it for 20 minutes if that never agsin

These people are awful. While I was trying on clothes, my 4yo needed a bathroom for an emergency. They said they didn't have a bathroom, so they sent my wife and 4yo across the parking lot in winter to a grocery store. How can you be so cold? Dropped my clothes and walked out. Be very aware, these employees are not here for you.
We went to Uptown Cheapskate after this terrible visit. Turns out it's much cleaner and has better prices. Didn't ask about their bathrooms though.
