Plato's Closet Willowbrook, Houston TX

One young African American manager here is extremely rude she was rude to her customers cursing in front of customers like she wasn’t at work and and even rude to employees I don’t think I would ever sell my clothes to this location anymore just because the way she was treating people!

They took over 1.5 hrs to look through my clothes only because I called to ask how much longer they needed. They responded, "you didn't get a text message? Your stuff is ready. " Then they tell me they won't take any of my items because it's not what they are needing at the moment, or it's too formal. Well, it would have saved alot if time they would have told me what items they are looking for before dropping it off. Not returning here.

Staff was friendly and had a lot of clothes to.choose from. Just wish we could use the fitting rooms to try on clothes.

You give them over $100 dollars worth of clothes and they offer you less than ten bucks I know you guys want a profit, but be considerate of others clothing. Also customer service was not good, they were kinda rude seemed very bothered when I came in.you’re better off going to a different location or donating to the GoodWill.

I went to give clothes that I had barely worn in sizes S-L. I brought over 65 items. The process took 2 hours, the staff barely looked at my items, stood on their phones, didn't text me when they were finished like they said they would, and paid me $8 for 8 items. Colossal waste of time, money, effort, and I will not be reccomending them to anyone.

Staff is not very friendly, they seem really bothered and rude every time you come and sell clothes. This location is one of the messiest stores I have ever been in. Clothes everywhere on the floor not properly hanged. Just seems very dirty in there. Very gross and distasteful.

Unfortunately, the employees at this location always provide horrible customer service (roll eyes/annoyed body language). I've noticed they do it to everyone who is looking to sell items. The location in the Woodlands is very professional. I'd recommend you go there and not waste your time at the Willowbrook location. Quite frankly, I am surprised this location is still in business. They don't always buy items based on needs/trends which is understandable, but it doesn't excuse how unpleasant staff is.

I came in right after retail businesses were allowed to open and when I walked in, I was told I had to wear a mask to be in the store. While in the store I kept noticing that the ladies working were not wearing their own masks or kept pulling them down below their chins. During the check out process I noticed their policy was that employees were required to wear mask AND GLOVES and not a single employee was wearing gloves. It’s irritating as a customer to be told to wear a mask yet the staff weren’t following the policy they were enforcing to their customers.

A good selection of most sizes. I'm plus size not a large selection. Will shop there again just to see if any changes.

Sold to them for the first time. Got 32 bucks for a few items. The items were $130 boots, $50 shorts and $80 jeans with the tags still on them! Management has replied to a review on here saying “ Our pricing system price merchandise we buy from customers at 50-70% off original retail prices, sellers then receive 30-40% back of whatever that amount is. ”. If this was the case I feel like I should have gotten a lot more. Also they passed on a prom dress, faux leather jacket, $130 crystal Shoes, Vera Bradley purses and other things. I understand they can’t take everything.but my husband and I walked around and there was stuff that I would NEVER buy. First and last time I sell to them. I’ll be trying buffalo exchange tomorrow.
Looked on their website before going to make sure they’d take what we had. Literally false advertising. Just put in big bold letters we really don’t take anything!

4 stars Only because of service. Great service by Vick. This guy took my clothes at 4 and the store closed at 7. The other coworkers did not want to take them in because it was “too late” and were being unpleasant about it, as if they didn’t want to be there. Vick was very generous and kind enough to take our clothes regardless of the other girl’s attitude. All in all he was very nice and we appreciate his service. Thanks Vick!

The items are pricey for used clothing. You can probably fair better at goodwill or other thrift stores.

Staff all very friendly. But you dont want to sale them purses. Michael Kors new with tag offered 27.00.

Don’t come to this store. They are lazy and don’t call you back for cash on clothes you sell. I came back 2 weeks later and they donate my bag of clothes. The cash was replaced by store credit. It’s all on the agreement you sign up. I’ve been into 3 other Plato’s and they never take more than 3 hours to review my clothes. I call this store 3 times during the two weeks. AND NEVER HAD MY CLOTHES READY. Plus. Careless staff

Don’t waste your time. Staff full of unprofessional kids. Also, stuff that’s really expensive they will only buy for like $5. Horrible experience. I will NEVER work with Plato’s Closet ever again.

Waste of time taking stuff to this place most of the items I took where things they were "buying" they didn't even bother to look yet wasted an hour of my time they didn't even notify me when they finished looking over my stuff I had to check. Employees don't pay much attention to customers they are mostly on the phone and or hanging around never coming back to this place again.

They are a very disorganized nothing is where it should be very slow as far as their intake process and they don't accept a wide range of high-quality clothing.

Their customer service is horrible, the associates are always just talking to each other behind the registers they don’t seemed fully trained and they don’t even pay attention to the customers. Deals are great sometimesbut I rather go to memorial or greenway for better selection even next door is better at style encore at this location very slim great quality.
