PLS Check Cashing, Dallas TX

Andrea was a really sweet girl I got my card stolen and She helped me out getting a replacement card and the whole process was fast. Im really happy with the service so i am here leaving a review for yall!:)

I went in to cash a check and left with a PLS card last month didnt think id like it but i will say it hasnt given me any trouble like my bank card has with the whole chip thing and all!

Great customer service with this location.

Don't come here if you're white you will get laughed at by all the employees and be given rude service.

I like PLS but not this one, not because of the long lines, no that's reasonable. The staff is the issue, mostly young ppl, that lack the experience to treat the costumers well.
The reason that I took my time to write about Spring Valley's PLS is because on the day of 02/15/19 I was confronted by an employee who might be a supervisor, that would persist on talking in Spanish to me. I greeted her and made my request in English. She seemed to feel attacked by me speaking English, and would act like she could't understand a word I was saying, till I force my self to speak in Spanish. I picked up on her game and confirmed my suspicion when one of the co-workers made a joke on how she was being in particular with me.
While I am Hispanic, I preferred to use English, I feel more comfortable. I don't do it to feel superior or to deny my roots. All I wanted is to do communicate my business smoothly, not to be picked on. I did not get her name, so she could be corrected but I hope don't have to go thru something like that again in PLS.

How do u go from free money orders to havin to pay $25 extra dollars when usin a credit card. What b.s and a terrible way to scam people. Psl y'all are no longer my place of service. Smh

They usually are always busy! Hate just standing in line!
If you want to send money do it online in Western Union. Or if you need a money order, many gas stations in the area do it for free as well! Don’t waste your time here when there are other places that offer faster service!

Always fast process here. Great customer service. And plenty of workers, so even when there is a long line still moves quickly. I pass by 2 PLS stores from my house just to come here.

Its MLK. Theyre pretty busy, not bad but its like 95 degrees in the lobby. So if anyone is freezing outside just come to pls, it feels like July

Had to cash my check here until my license came in the mail. The customer service is ridiculous. Over 20 people were in line, 3 windows were open out of 8, and the employees showed zero hustle in getting the line moving. I’ll never lose my ID again.

Staff is always polite. You must create a free account with the establishment to cash checks, but it is an easy process. Auto insurance can also be purchased within minutes at this location. Check cashing fees can sometimes be expensive depending on the situation and check amount, but it's worth it when you're in a difficult situation. Overall, this is a straight up reputable establishment.

30 people in line, 1 window open 5 staff on the clock. After 30 minutes in line they managed to open a second window.

24 hour check cashing service. 24 hr doe!
they only charge 1% plus. 50 cents.
So to cash my $500 weekly check they charge roughly 5 dollars BUT by the time i get off work fridays Banks are CLOSED. I can not get to a bank during the day cause i work all damn day.so bless these places.and as far as people saying bad customer support, you are there to cash a damn check.u dont need no customer support

Extremely unprofessional. Sent money through western union, my recipient showed up to pick it up and they told him he has already picked it up. Sent them confirmation email that the money is at their location and still denying to pay out. Turns out they have given the money to another individual. I will be filing a complaint with Western Union and PLS. Do not go to this place!
