Nice out of the way spot to cast a line or just play in the river. Super-friendly volunteer at the gate as well

Great place to camp. Watch out for ant hills and the pong has a major alge problem. But other than that absolutely no complaints.

First, I want to say that the park host is the best! Super friendly and helpful! Everything about this place was wonderful until we went down to the river without the park host. Not long and we were harassed by LCRA police. Don’t they have something better to do than to bother people that are quiet and minding their own business? Their behavior is disgruntling to say the least.

One of my favorite places to get away awesome for the family great place for fishing and playing in the river rather not review and keep it a secret but I have to cause it a great park and the park keeper is cool and laid back but respect the park and make sure to pay the honor box in the front. Most definitely will return

Small tucked away slice of Texas Heaven. The gentleman in the office is a character and welcomed you with a friendly smile. Perfect day trip park
