Scheduled two pods- selected the wrong date. It says you can reschedule online- I didn’t have that option. Reached out to customer service and told them what happened they were already closed. The customer service representative said it stated on their website the fee to reschedule but it also states you can login and reschedule which I couldn’t. They charged me $300 to reschedule. $150 each Pod - wouldn’t make any exception even though the website had no reschedule delivery option as stated it did. I’ve used this for many of my clients and recommended but now I won’t be using pods again.

All the Drivers Were Very Professional and Kind, Respectful. The Company was Horrible at Communicating with The Emails that I had to fill out 3or 4 times and still did not pass on to the Drivers.and the text messages were wrong with times and dates that We talked about with Corporate People...

By using this POD, I was able to locate some key items very quickly once I was in the new location. Would definitely recommend using PODS to be able to group specific items together.

It is a great Idea for things that are not Extremally Valuable. If it is things that you don't mind getting dirty it is the Best Option. Double check the addresses are correct when getting your quote. Will cause less of a headache. Overall, happy with the Experience moving over two states. The Large Container fit 3 rooms and garage easily. Tetris was never my thing.

Pods quoted me one price and charged me more. When I called to ask why they opened a "Claim" and then denied my claim even though I provided them with the quote number. They are very shady. They also delivered a pod with straps in it that I assumed might be something they provide. We didn't use it, we just left them in there and when we opened the door the weather stripping fell off, so we left that in there as well. The driver who picked up the pod threw the straps and weather stripping in our driveway and left them there as if it was mine without bothering to ask. They blew it out in the driveway, which I was surprised by because when we received it we had to blow it out before using it, so I was surprised that they did it when they picked it up. I won't use them again because I don't trust the way they provide one price and charge more. Each person I have spoken to to get this resolved had a different answer and steps that I was to take.
IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE - You can say anything you want. We both know that the quote you provided me doesn't match what you charged me and my next step is to dispute with my credit card company.

Would give zero stars if I could…if you are looking for service delays by multiple days, constant guarantees that the pod movers will be there only for it to get pushed to the next day and then the next, then look no further. PODs repeatedly set days for pick up, only to constantly delay it. If you’re ok with an unknown schedule and weeks of delays of when you would get your stuff then sure use PODs but I would stay away and highly recommend using something else.

Convenient for long moves, but your items will shift and that's the worst part. A 65 inch tv, bubble wrapped and corner protected in a box was broken in the move, and unfortunately there was nothing that could be done about shifting.

Where is my container? Should have been delivered between 4: 45 and 7: 45. It is now 10: 55pm and no container. A meesly 125.00 discount doesn't account for no POD delivered at all. I want POD delivered first thing in the morning.

This is the worst company ever. Previous to getting a pods unit out to our acreage to move. I checked the ZIP Code of our new location and was told they deliver. This is only an hour outside of Fort Worth Texas. After we moved, now they are stating they cannot deliver to our location. My husband works out of town and I am alone with a two year-old and a four-year-old with no truck to go unload our pod.
Every time I phone in to see if they can make an exception on delivery, (which they advised they can do) to our location, I am put on hold for over 10 minutes and then I’m disconnected. They set up a case file for me stating that I would be emailed within 72 hours with details of how they can deliver to me. No email has ever come. Now it looks as though I’m going to have to hire movers to unload my pod and bring my belongings out to my new home. I have been left without winter clothes for my children that I’ve had to go purchase again. Not to mention now I’m going to have to pay movers and a moving truck on top of the $260 a month. These people are charging me for a pod which was $60 over the quote I received on booking. As well they sent me a moving blanket upon delivery, which I never ordered and they charged me for and they have not reimburse me to date despite repeated promises to do so. Don’t ever use this company!

If I can help it, I will never use another moving solution other than having someone move all my stuff themselves (instead of me). However, moving somewhat locally with a small gap in time before the move in date, packing and storing with PODS was the best way to go. I'd highly recommend to anyone.

Communication sucked. Billing was hard to understand. Our stuff was all jumbled inside the container. Outside of the container had damage on it from the move that wasn't there when we first loaded our stuff into it. The chat option was nice, people were friendly and fast in responding, just didn't make things as clear as I would have liked.

Shipped from Auburn, WA to Fort Wort, TX. Signing up, drop off, pick up were painless. Getting dropped back off when you want it needs to be scheduled well in advance. I thought we only needed to request 48 hours in advance. Their re-delivery team was backlogged a little over a week. Driver didn't place it where I wanted and it took a lot longer to unload due to distance from the apartment's garage.

Bad experience with customer service. We never received our POD. Not even a call. Was told the manager marked the POD as delivered. I'm assuming so it won't ding his service schedule. We cancelled our order. Have yet to receive a refund. Now we are scrambling to figure something else out. Do not use PODS in DFW area. The manager there is incompetent. Use Uhaul UBOX instead.

We never got our POD and are now scrambling to figure out something else at the last minute. Our delivery was officially canceled at 8: 30 am yesterday (minutes after we spoke to our driver on the phone and he asked us where we’d like the POD positioned) ; we were not informed of the cancellation in any way, and could never contact our driver again after first speaking with him. Website only had a boiler plate warning about possible delays due to weather; wouldn’t have applied in our case because it was sunny in our area all day. When we called at 10: 30 to figure out where our POD was, we were put on hold and called back in the early afternoon. We were told it was delayed and would get there by 5pm. That never happened. We called and waited on hold again for nearly an hour, starting around 5pm.

Eventually found out the delivery had been cancelled that morning because the driver didn’t like the look of our driveway, and that there was no way at that point to get something else arranged within our timeframe. It took us nearly 12 hours to hunt this information down after the fact. No one from PODS ever reached out to us proactively. We didn’t even get an automated message informing us of the cancellation.

I would never trust PODS for anything again after this experience. They are woefully disorganized, can’t be bother to do the bare minimum to accommodate customers, and the drivers seem to have no accountability.

UPDATE: We went with UHAUL and they were able to fit us in first thing next day because of our situation. Customer service didn’t keep us waiting for longer than a few minutes. UHAUL also had no trouble scaling the driveway that was allegedly unworkable according to PODS, and the total looks like it’s going to be a little less than PODS as well. Explore your options.

We were having new floors installed in the entire house, and the pod in the driveway was a game changer. Easy to order and set up and pay online, then when completed, easy to schedule pick up. Highly recommend!

Worse experience ever! I ordered a 16' container to be delivered between 845am and 1145am. It's 2 p.m, and no one has shown up or even had the courtesy of calling me. I called customer service, and that was a joke. I spent hours on hold, and all they told me that they were trying to get with the facility manager. I hired movers to help and no container. They didn't know what was going on. I even went to their local facility, and the door was locked. Go figure! If there was a way to give no stars, I would, but 1 star is the lowest. Do not use this company.
