I walked into the office on my first visit. Through word of mouth I heard of Dr. Poindexter and his father as well. My experience on my first visit was awesome. Dr. Poindexter had staff do what they do, then Dr. Poindexter formed a treatment plan. He was precise, and to the point. To date, treatment plan has come to fruition, through it all, I've a brighter smile, and owe it all to Dr Poindexter and his staff. Love going there, all are very professional, caring, and knowledgeable. Thank you all.

Look! This place is a beacon in the world, this professional dentist and his professional staff are blessed by god no matter the atmosphere the time the day you will be served what you need and yes dental care will be expensive and there will be bad and good days but you can assure that you will get what you pay for! I used to live in Houston and now I live in west texas 12 hours away and I schedule my appointments every time I visit home. Only because I trust I love and I get the services I deserve! I've been going to Poindexter Dental for about 20 years plus. I go twice a year faithfully for my cleanings. My latest experience was Superb! My teeth were thoroughly cleaned after many stains from drinking coffee and tea. I mean it is IMPRESSIVE how clean Barry got them. I will continue going and would absolutely recommend you go as well. I was looking for a dentist and Poindexter Dental was listed on my Insurance plan…. So after looking at some others on my plan and reading the reviews, Poindexter Dental had the best reviews. So I called and made an appointment, and let me tell you the reviews did not disappoint. From the time you walk in the door you are welcomed, from the front desk to his whole team they was amazing, caring and kind…. It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Poindexter he come in make you feel welcome and he explain everything to you and so does his team. Thanks guys you all are awesome and I look forward to many more visits.

I love the team at Poindexter Dental. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I was glad to find a doctor who understood pass experiences have a effect on current responses. I have gone from a person who sat in her car and cried before entering the dentist's office to one who is relaxed, and can be heard throughout the office laughing and joking with the friendly staff. Dr. Poindexter is a skilled and effective dentist with a heart for people, who cares not only about keeping their teeth healthy but their community also. New patient today I went in to get my tooth pulled and the entire staff was very professional, kind, and caring. Leticia was very nice, informative, and made me feel comfortable as well as the dentist Mr. Poindexter. I usually don’t like going to dentist but now I’m bringing me and my daughter back! 10/10 experience

I literally love this place. I've been coming here for years now and can't imagine switching. I went to another dentistry once in between my visits to Poindexter Dental and had to come back to Poindexter to fix something the other place messed up. Everyone here is so nice, the service is great. Also, Kester, the hygienist, is the most gentle I've ever encountered and Dr. Poindexter is a GEM.

I’ve been silence long enough. I thought I was doing the right thing supporting a black owned business, but this was the worst experience of my life. Mr. Pointdexter left an instrument in my mouth during the removal of both of my bottom wisdom teeth. I had no idea until four years later when I visited another dentist office when they showed me an X-ray of my mouth. It took me four years to go back to the dentist because the amount of pain I was in after getting my wisdom teeth removed. I was traumatized on going back to the any dentist. And when I notified Poindexter along with his wife (his assistant) the only solution they advise me was to not remove the instrument because of the risk. I was very adamant about getting the object removed, so Poindexter referred me to his friend and stated that his friend is just going to tell me the same thing and that I should leave it alone if it isn’t causing any pain because it’s too close to a nerve. Throughout all of this I was never compensated. Haven’t heard from them since and I’m still stuck with an object in my mouth and out of the money that I spent on getting my wisdom teeth pulled. Now every time I go to the dentist, I’m embarrassedly explaining why an object is stuck in my mouth. PLEASE go somewhere professional and where you are treated with care.

I got a root canal. The new cap that they put on does not meet gum to gum. They knew when they put it on; that it was wrong but because I was going out of town the next day. I accepted it. Than they had me to sign something because they knew it didn't fit. Whatever. Everytime I went they made sure you paid. You could've been in the dentist chair they coming to get there money. I think a year or maybe 2 they are now harassing me for 22.00.you messed up my mouth now you want 22.00. I hate the dentist but a friend recommended them so sorry I went.

After years of going to these pop-up dental clinics, decided to go back to my roots (see what I did there). So glad I did everything was explained to the fullest from financing to every procedure that was going to be required to get my mother's smile back. Nothing was sugar-coated up-to-date equipment, this place is the real deal one stop shop!

I’ve been coming to Poindexter Dental for almost 2 years. I love it here. The staff is very kind and accommodating. It is also a practice that has been in the family for quite some time! They make you feel very at home. If you’re cold, they’ll grab you a blanket and even put on your favorite music. I definitely appreciate them!
