11 For the small nine holes, the distance between each hole is not long, so you can use #3 wood.
The greens are well maintained, but difficult and fast! We completed nine holes in less than two hours.
There are a lot of deer here, and they are not too afraid of people!
Justin (Pro) keeps the course in great condition and Chris at the front desk always takes great care of my family.
Great course very fun to play, not to challenging and even better staff. Chris was the one who helped me at the front desk, an awesome guy. Carts were very clean. A great price for a good round of golf.
Great course overlooking Lake Travis. Some challenging fairways and greens make this an interesting round!

I'm not much of a golfer. My brother in law's father was and he got us to go a few times when he was still alive.
This course is perfect for beginners. It's a 9-Hole course with no water hazards or sand bunkers.
Some of the fairways are a little tight, but they're not bad even for a novice like myself.
I've been recently and they've updated their clubhouse and the course is in top notch shape.
If you're a beginner or even a seasoned pro I'm sure you'll enjoy playing a round or two at Point Venture Country Club's 9-Hole course.
Super friendly and fun course. Greens in good shape and well watered even in this drought!
I played here just 1 time, 3-4 months ago. It's just 9 holes course but I think the course was ok and cute.
In really good shape. Greens have some bare spots but overall, not bad. A very narrow course so bring your best shots.
This is tough to quantify. The course is nice for what it is, decently maintained, interesting layout, mostly it was enjoyable to play. The problem? The greens. Never have I played a course that punished you so badly for missing a putt like this place. There is no flat elevation on any of these greens. Missing by mere inches sends your ball rolling away 10,20 sometimes 30 yards away. It's truly the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I didn't come to play puttputt, and no matter how enjoyable the trip to the greens may be, your putting experience is your final impression of the hole. These go beyond being "challenging" which is fine. It was just a pretty demoralizing experience and can't see the justification for making the drive back out here again. This could be a really cool course to frequent, but there's just no way I'm putting myself through that misery again.
