Polished Nail Lounge reviews
14I was looking for a new nail salon, and I’m just Not satisfied with my nails. All uneven and bulky. And polish was left on the creases as well.
This place took me in before closing without any issue. I was turned down from my usual spot across the street with a whole hour before they closed, and was stunned because it’s holiday season. Polished Nail Lounge easily made this exception and the staff was VERY POLITE. Any request was taken with upmost respect and they were super receptive which I greatly appreciated as I was frazzled trying to make this time after work. I am a healthcare worker that just doesn’t have the time… so this was greatly appreciated. Thank you Jade and Janet
Let’s start with the manicure: I had one nail a little bit shorter than the others so I ask the lady to make them all even with that one. I ended up with the shortest nails ever. I asked her to please push and trim my cuticles. She “trim” my cuticles but such a sloppy job that it doesn’t even look like they were removed. Today is day 6 of my gel manicure and I already lost the gel on 2 of them. I did a dark color so it looks really bad!
The pedicure: The lady did a good job on my heels. That I have to say. My toes weren’t the best but also not the worst so I went with it. I had flip flops so my toes were always open to the air. It took me 2-3 hours to get home after the pedicure. Went home, put on some socks and apparently the polish was still wet because they were all messed up. What type of pedicure (normal polish) takes more than 3 hours to dry? !
I won’t be going back. That’s for sure.
Awesome service; kind, attentive and perfect polished nails. A relaxing setting, and have no plans of going anywhere else for polished nails! Discount after so many visits!
This place is just like any other nail salon mill. 3 out of the 4 times I've been here have been off in some shape or form. The first two times, they pierced my cuticles causing me to bleed. But they were at least nice about it. However, today was the absolute worst. The middle-aged technician with short brown hair, perhaps in her 40s-50s, was aggressive and rushing me. She PEELED my nails off on the sides, which hurt and is unprofessional. Even after I showed how I disapproved of this "technique, " she continued to do it to my other big toe. I told her to please stop that. (I am not a machine where she can rip off parts of me, ie my toenails). She then proceeded to argue with me how long I needed to stay, only giving me 5 minutes to dry my toenails. I said no, I need at least 10 minutes. She hovered over my chair and rushed me out of a 30-min session. The nail salon wasn't even packed. She just didn't want to be there.
I'll probably have to use this place again when my home nail salon, Neon Nail in Montrose, doesn't have availability for me. But I'm going to try staying away from here!
I am visiting from MD and was looking for a spot for a pedicure this morning. I am so glad I came here. The space is big and clean and the atmosphere is inviting. I opted for the Classic Pedicure, which was $42. For that option, you get "a combination of the refresher pedicure with an exfoliation sea salt scrub, hot stone massage, hot towels, warm shoulder pad with an additional 4 minutes shoulder massage. " This option was perfect for me. After that option, there are 4 other options ranging from $53 - $70.
I have really small feet and tiny toes and every pedicure I get usually feels rushed no matter where I go. That was not the case here. Jade did an excellent job and really took her time, which I appreciated. I also appreciated the fact that callus removal was not a separate child. Although I believe you can pay for additional removal.
I must add that the shoulder massage at the end followed by the warm towel was heavenly. Jade (Vy) has gained a customer every time I'm in Houston.
Something else I noticed that is worth mentioning, while others were getting their pedicures, their nail services were being done in the same spot. This was very smart and efficient and I'm sure it saves them a lot of time, allowing them to see more customers.
I recently started coming here after having to endure to find a new place that I liked since my nail technician moved away. I usually shop at krogers across the street so I said what the heck just try it out. I loved it! I found me a new nail technician named Sam who is so nice and does an amazing job on my pedicures. The atmosphere is relaxing, it's usually quiet which is nice and calming after a stressful day and having a glass of champagne just hits the spot. The only thing I don't like which has nothing to do with them is the parking. It gets packed and it's small. I had to park across the street one time. So I suggest getting here early to find parking. Other than that I definitely recommend trying this place out.
Great service every time I go. They don’t rush you and you get your money’s worth for pedicure packages unlike other nail salons in the area
This nail salon is amazing. Great service and very accommodating. Bob is absolutely fabulous with my nails! Love his work
I am new to Houston so i had to find a new nail salon and this one did not disappoint. Loc/Bob did my nails and did such a good job, he also repeatedly asked me if I liked my nails / wanted him to fix or change anything to make it to my liking. He did my nails exactly how I wanted and was so friendly. I recommend going in the morning to beat the crowd. Cant wait to go back again!
When i come here i always get tim, he works so fast and is very gentle with my cuticles, love this place so much!
We were able to walk in for a double pedicure no problem on a Saturday afternoon. The chairs were very comfortable, water just the perfect temperature and I really loved my scrub and hot stone massage pedi. Wine and mimosas are offered as well as part of the service.
This place is always on point and provides the best service! Tracy is by far my favorite nail tech!
My first time getting my nails done here and loved the detail and care they put into making the experience great, clean and friendly environment, color was lovely as well.
