Delicious Indian food. Great service. Seating was quick even at peak hours. Definitely worth trying this place.

If you like pretty decor, but chunks of hair in your food, this is a five star restaurant.

Love the food here. Unique indian-fusion dishes. Their samosas, chutneys, sweet potato fries and coconut pancakes were among my favorites. Their thali and chai-pie dessert also a big hit among my friends.
The place is clean and the staff is friendly.

I don't really know why I've never been to this restaurant before because it's been on my list for a while now. This is a must visit place with some amazing Indian food. We shared some samosas, the sweet potato one was so delicious! I ordered a plate called the Texan, it had a variety of things on it including garlic naan, potatoes, lamb, stewed eggplant and lamb, a salad and butter chicken. I could not stop eating. I also got a couple of cocktails one called the blueberry sparkle and another one I can't remember the name. I was so stuffed I could not eat dessert but I got the Crack ball to the home. It is like a bite sized truffle. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary, it was his first time at Pondicheri. We had a wonderful time and the food was perfect! We started off with drinks, Happy Hour cocktails. I got the Lassi cocktail and it was amazing and unique.

We split the vindaloo lamb ribs, the weekend special for 2 people. It was the best lamb we've ever had. The meat was so savory and seasoned well. It was pretty spicy, we loved it.

For dessert they surprised us with a complimentary Diwali donut for our anniversary. We also got the pumpkin Chai pie, which was so creamy and a perfect way to end the meal.

Our server was very quick and knowledgeable about the menu. He made our dinner feel very special.

Happy to get back to Houston to go to Pondicheri. Please expand to Ellicott City, Maryland!:)

Omg.my brother just introduced me to this amazing Indian restaurant. It was clean and delicious dishes and the service was excellent. I had the butter chicken and I'm not exactly sure what my brother ate.but it was all delicious. On the way out we both bought our spouses some desserts. My pictures show the different foods we ordered.yummers! Seriously, I love this place! I wish they had a location closer to League city.

Definitely not the place where indian can go and enjoy, lousy food, lousy naan, lousy food all together, extremely expensive, don't recommend it,

Ordered the wings off of Favor and they travelled really well. They were still warm as delicious. Definitely ordering from here again.

It's semi self-serve style where you order right as you walk in and they deliver your order to your table. Everything was flavorful and I left pretty stuffed.
-Morning Thali (non-veg) : great way to try some dishes in small portions but out of the six items, only liked the chai oats and lentil stew. The lamb keema was too gamey, potato cake too dry. Paratha was crispy and good with the egg.
-Butter Chicken: everyone at the table enjoyed this one the most
-Garlic Naan: great to scoop up the curries since the cracker it came with was mostly burnt on one side
-Chickfu Curry: chickfu tastes like paneer or softer tofu
Shrimp & Upma Curry: didn't care for the grits, but the sauce of the curry was flavorful and mildly sweet
-Chai Pie: took a big bite of ginger, but it was good to try once for me, a little too warm with all the flavorful spices.

One of the best and most unique breakfast we ever had. If this was next to my home, I would be here every single day. Lots of gluten free options made my wife very happy.

I didn’t like the food at all. It was fusion food but I have had better fusion food than this. Service was very slow. I went there for a special occasion but didn’t have a pleasant experience start to finish.i am not returning back.

The food is tasty but there are many issues with asking for substitutions, simple packaging of "To Go" items and available items. Even if the owner's son-in-law tells you that you will get a refund you are treated a bit arrogantly and YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND FOR ANYTHING EVER!

Why do you need my e-mail to give a refund? You don't. A third party will give me a refund? "THEY" WON'T AND IT DID NOT HAPPEN! Call you back if the refund does not happen? Why? To be treated poorly? YOU ALREADY KNOW THE REFUND WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

You guys are becoming not worth it for me to drive in from Sugarland.

Went to get dessert and was overcharged. They had slice of cake posted for $8 BUT charged $10. When I asked about being overcharged, they tried to tell me they just changed the price & acted like I was supposed to just be okay with that. I suggested that they I’d be happy to accept a couple of cookies to make up the overcharge, and the woman was adamant that she wasn’t going to “”give free cookies”. She the proceeded to try to refund & charge the correct amount while admitting it was their mistake. She couldn’t figure it out & sent us away saying that the general manager would have to figure out the refund tomorrow.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

A totally delightful experience. The staff at Pondicheri is kind, friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is colorful, artistic, and welcoming…and so is the food! I had the Thalis with a lamb chop, butter chicken, eggplant, and other accompaniments and my friend enjoyed the Kerala scallops. We drank dry cider and white wine and marveled at the large array of unique and delicious desserts—which was totally unexpected! Ample outdoor seating, staff masked for safety which is important AND still smiling under them. I highly recommend stopping here for a meal, snack, drink, or sweets—you can have it all with the comfort that comes with traditional Indian attention to health and hospitality. Food is gross and uninspired. Owner (Anita something) is also gross and uninspired. Rudest, most narcissistic restaurant owner I’ve seen in Houston - and that’s saying quite a lot.

Breakfast was ok, but portion size are incredibly small for what you pay and test is ok. Overall, I believe it is an average place.

NOTHING!
We were a group of about 10 girls so we ordered quite a lot of food off the menu ranging from pani puri, dosa, lamb burger, wrap and thali.
We are all passing our food to each other coz none of us were interested in having anything.
We literally picked on our food, ate a few bites and left 80% of our food on our plates. So much so that when the waiter came to clear the table he was confused if we were done it still eating!
The 20% food that we ate was only coz we were really hungry.
What a waste of time and money.
The ONLY thing good about that place was the ambiance.
The location is amazing and the weather was perfect to enjoy the outdoor seating.
Wait… did i mention they didn’t even have NO SOFT DRINKS!
Not going back there for sure!
