Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen reviews
16The food was good but most of the tables were unwashed. There were very few people in the dining room.
We used the drive thru like usual. We ordered then and were told to "pull up and your order will be out". Nothing out of the ordinary for busy fast food place. My granddaughter had to "go bad". She's 7. So her and I went in. Here's where things got odd. I waited outside the restroom and watched the staff. Several were just standing around looking confused. One employee didn't complete the task he obviously was in the middle of until asked where the sandwich was. The employee responded "I dunno know" then resumed assembling the order. My thought: "what the.is he on drugs? What the heck is going on? Why stop mid task like he's on pause? " While waiting for the child, the lady in the car ahead of us had to come in due to "missing half of the order". We then returned to the car. We still had not received our order. Usually the service is MUCH better. This whole experience was surreal. The food was tasty and to my delight our order was correct.
I went by Popeye's for the red beans and rice, which are consistent across restaurants. The drive through was painful as it was clear the order taker to whom I was speaking wasn't paying attention. I kept having to repeat myself, then was met with silence, then quoted the wrong order. Finally got that done with a single popcorn shrimp and biscuits added. At the window, it was clear what the issue is. Three people were yakking it up and cared more about that than customer service. I checked the order and they forgot my sauce. The guy, maybe the manager, barked at a kid to get sauce and never forget. Shrimp and biscuits were good. But the red beans and rice were inedible. They had vinegar or cleaner or something foul tasting in them. They were watery and gross. Very disappointing.
I am a student at Texas A&M and stop here every time on my drive home to San Antonio. Customer service at this location always great and friendly
Is 10am a suggested opening time? Waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes with no service.
The chicken seemed barely cooked, we put it in the oven when we got home. While at the drive thru window an employee dropped the tongs in the floor, picked them up and started grabbing chicken.
First time going to this Popeyes and I’m very disappointed. I ordered 2 5 piece meals spicy and when I got them they were hardly cooked I had to cook them at home and they weren’t even spicy. I would not recommend coming here.
Next time the employee's talk basura about a customer they should make sure he doesn't speak spanish.
Omg the guy in the drive thru seemed like he had a lot on his plate. But he got our order perfect. Very impressed!
Chicken was not fresh fried, kind of dry.
I still ate it. I still like Popeyes, compare to chicken express. Anyday.
The food was fine but the young lady that started our order was obviously put out with having to help us. She was very condescending when my daughter asked for a special type of chicken by telling her theydidn't have it only to give her that exact option when repeating the types of chicken they have. The person that took over for her was good and the gentleman at the window was really kind. Unfortunately, they appear to be used to having to make up for her bad attitude.
The problem with this store is, they only do takeout.
Used to be a nice store until they got scared if Covid and locked all their customers out. Go to Victoria, they are open.
Shrimp used to be bigger and more for $. No tarter sauce or seafood sauce given. So service through drive thru could have been better. Took chicken home to go very good.
Worthless. Here at 1: 15pm on Sunday 9/25 and lobby is locked. NEVER EVER bothering with these scrubs again. Little wonder why Chicken Express is always swamped with business.
Ordered online to pick up inside since I ride a bicycle and the drive thru isn't safe. Only 8: 45 pm but the lobby is closed and the phone is off the hook. Already paid so.
Chicken was good and crispy. The person who took my order was friendly. Service was quick. Love the red beans and rice!
