Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Amarillo TX

Anytime I order from this store I have problems. I haven't actually ever received dipping sauce though I definitely ask for it. Today however. My entire order was wrong. Wrong drink, wrong kind of chicken, wrong side order.
Time to lay off the electric lettuce.

Took 15 minutes to get my order and my order was missing fries with my chicken strips.maybe they should have been helping get food out @ 920 instead of cleaning the floors which they should do @ closing 10pm.poor management skills

CHICKEN ARE SUPER DRY, AS IN SUPER DRY ESPECIALLY THEIR CHICKEN BREAST. DRUM STICKS ARE FROM BANTAM CHICKEN, SUPER SMALL! STAFF HERE ARE SUPER RUDE, I THINK THEY ARE FROM THE GETTHO! ALWAYS MEAN, AND SNARKY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. IF YOU BUY IN THE DRIVE THRU CHECK YOUR FOOD FIRST BEFORE YOU LEAVE. MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE MISSING CHICKEN, OR SOMETHING ELSE.

The Coulter Street location was really good, but most of all the staff-those 2 ladies were so welcoming and just bent over backwards to accommodate me on what had been a pretty rough day. Warm, welcoming, helpful and funny. They worked so well together. Wish I had gotten their names so I could thank them publicly. Great meal, saved money and enjoyed the encounter!

Took about 25 minutes for me to pick up a doordash order, which was placed in advance before I went to pick it up of course

If I could give zero stars I would. I was told I’d have to wait 20 minutes for an all dark 16 piece meal. That was fine with me. Except it took FORTY MINUTES! They weren’t even busy! And I had to go in and get my food myself and still had to wait! The ONLY reason they started getting my order ready is because I came inside. Girl with a long ponytail was in there eating the food as she packed it. ALL of my food was over cooked. The ONLY thing pleasant about this experience was the girl at the window.

If a business says what hours they are open, they need to be open for those hours. 2nd Popeyes I tried going to today to only find them both being closed! The second one I went to I raced to get there prior to closing, and still closed before the time posted.won't waste my time going back again and won't recommend to any of my ppl

Awful service. My husband went through drive-thru at 8: 48pm on Friday. They asked him to pull up like they sometimes do, so he did. They forgot about us for an hour despite him checking in about the food. At 9: 53 pm they were reluctant to give him a refund saying it was almost done. Worst April Fool’s joke ever. Got the refund finally but what a terrible experience.

When you order online and give them 30min to prepare it only for them to start preparing it when you arrive I don’t understand why anyone would order online. Also waited 10 min for them to answer the drive thru. Needless to say will not be coming here again.

Got everything wrong. Even when I said it was okay as long as the wrong order I was charged for was the right order they handed me that was wrong as well‍️. Likely half of the crew was outside in the back when i pulled to the order board. When I saw that I thought about just leaving. Looking back now it was good gut feeling

I waited in like for 15 minutes for an order that had been placed 25 minutes prior, no one seemed to have any socialization skills, but they all talked
to each other instead of the customer, and was missing 2 sides to top it off! I get it was close to closing, but the order was placed 55 minutes before closing im sure it should have been ready.

We have never had good service here, but we decided to try it again. We didn’t get what we ordered. The chicken was mild instead of spicy. It was extremely dry. Tasted like it had been over cooked, and cooked with old oil, or had been sitting there all day. We got macaroni and cheese instead of mashed potatoes. The macaroni was more like macaroni soup with clumps of cheese. The red beans and rice was also soupy and not good. Cole slaw and biscuits were the only things that tasted good. Called the store, they couldn’t care less. Called area manager, who did not act concerned. She did offer to refund my money, however. Will never go back to that location. Hope they close down.

They must be having a hard day today. But I ordered 2 #8s spicy with the fries and 2 drinks. Wait time wasn't bad at all. But when I got our food to my husband's work place, all the Chicken strips were way over cooked, hard and dry. Over half of the strips in each meal was not even edible.

We won't be back to this location. The chicken was dry. The fries were stale and red beans/rice no flavor. They had customers waiting for food outside drive thru. They had customers coming back for food they didn't get with their orders. I don't understand the service.they had plenty of workers.

I hadn't been to Popeyes in several years, but the one thing I always did like was their rice and beans. And oh my goodness that hadn't changed. Best thing ever! The chicken was good as well but the rice and beans definitely has my vote!

A month ago we got chicken to go at the Popeyes on Coulter and when we got home the chicken was old, tough like leather and not fit eat - you could not chew it! Today I had a coupon for a 14 piece family dinner - the coupon DID NOT specify tenders or chicken. I ordered chicken to go and the lady told me I could only get tenders because she couldn’t ring up chicken at that price! So I got the tenders and when we got home this chicken is OLD! It is awful and not fit to eat! It has apparently been under the heat lamp all day as the chicken has turned black- it isn’t burnt just sat way too long under the lamp! This is absolutely frustrating! Never will I ever buy from this location again! Or can recommend them to anyone!

I have been here a few times, I love Popeyes, however, this one always gets my order wrong or forgets to add something. They are always out of something or dont have anything prepared, takes way to long to get food. Really bad management
