Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, El Paso TX

First off I would like to start off why I'm giving this place 4 stars, The reason is because they didn't even feel like trying to retain their best employee in Gio Renteria he was the staple the glue in that kitchen! But the chicken is good.

Everytime I go to this Popeyes it take no less than 30 min to order! Every Time! Unless you got tike to kill go to another Popeyes!

Drive through only but still good service with a smile. And always great tasting fried chicken. Love the fries.

I was shocked! I've never had Bad Popeyes food but it was terrible Cajun Rice with dried up and red beans and rice tasted old like fermented. This was at dinner time, 7pm I figured it wouldn't have been fresh.

I ordered on line at 5: 30 pm and went to pick up at about 6: 00 pm and my order was not ready and told to park on side of drive thru window and wait for my order. Yet sevrral cars were waited on and I was still waiting for my order. What is sense of ordering on line?

Only drive through available, if you come during rush hour, 11 to 2 or 5 to 630. Good luck on the wait. I dont understand why they dont have the restaurant open for covid, it can be at least 10% so it helps with the load of the drive through, I guess management there is not capable of doing that, good luck with the wait time if you go,

Today: My husband ordered our family's meal through the app. My best friend and I drove there. My best friend ordered his meal. The staff quickly took his credit card to pay for it. They also quickly cooked and gave him his meal. The manager and staff were more mean and unhelpful, and less nice and helpful. They checked the text messages <about my order> on my phone. They lied to me, said my husband <Wrong name> picked-up the food this morning. I said no, I'm here to pick it up. The rude manager kept on calling my husband <wrong name> got the food, to please go away, to go park somewhere else, etc. He and staff had to attend to the other customers. I told them I'd park nearby, but would return, so they could correct my family's order. I shouldn't have moved from the drive-through window. I should've said No, stayed there, and insisted that they fix their mistake. I was a customer too. Instead, I parked.no one showed-up. I called.no one answered. I got back in line, complained in the menu's intercom. The staff corrected their mistake, gave me a big bag of food. My best friend and I checked our food bag orders. They were okay and correct. We ate lunch at my family's place. The food was good and safe. I will never return to that place. The staff wore face masks. Half of them wore gloves. My family and I will never return there. Advice to the staff: Listen better, learn manners, fix the app.

Always a great place to eat. Please make sure ro try tge Hershey's Chocolate Beignets.small but tasty.

Wait time after paying was a bit longer than other fast food places but the chicken sandwich smacks

Please do not correct people's pronunciation ex. Cajun. Many people in El Paso have heavy accents and people may get offended

I never used to eat at Popeye's like ever now I go for their everyday specials like on Fridays they have popcorn shrimp with sides and a drink. They also have chicken breasts special with a side as well so good

Thumbs down. Greesy chicken thigh, but white meat was dry, like old piece that sit on rack too long. Terrible service. Employee can't speak or understand English very good and is impatient. No towels in bathroom. They wanted to charge for condiments, so we did without dipping sauce. Something wrong with the lemonaid. Taste like powder mix. We will never come to this Popeyes again, unless it's for the biscuit.

Food I good but the servie is terrible. My son loves the chicken but they manage to get my order wrong everytime. Contacted them online and not even a reply or follow-up. Go to Church's

The best is on belvidere westside, larger pieces than other Popeyes and i have eaten at the original in New Orleans.

Popeyes kitchen food was fresh and good we were inline very shortly before we had to order we got our food and it was good and free refills and condiments upon request I love the mashed potatoes and gravy. The inside was clean overall a good dining experience only downside is that the bathrooms were dirty and needed cleaning there was poo paper on the floor would go back but they need to clean the restrooms better

Was in about a week and half ago. Waited about 3 minutes for someone to come to the counter. The tables were dirty, the restrooms were dirty, the floor was dirty. Will not go back to this restaurant

No chicken was cooked an hour before closing and refused to cook any because they said they were cleaning.
Please change management!

My daughter and I did not like the food. The chicken was rubbery and the rice was crunchy. Definitely looks better on tv.

Disappointed, found a special because it was being advertised at the location at the counter screen and the board (see pic), but counter person told me it was not available this week. Chicken looked like it was burnt, but when another client complained, it was brushed aside (see pic). Got the feeling that client wasn't their priority.

Chicken here is good, crunchy, regular or spice at your choice. They offer daily specials, so ask for them. Service is fast and side dishes are a good complement for this delicious cajun meal.
