Very helpful with things to do and places to eat. All suggestions that I was given was excellent
I had the pleasure of speaking with the Visitors Center on yesterday. I spoke with a young lady (maybe Mickey) who was very polite, patient and informative. As a result of my conversation I was able to make all the accommodations for my upcoming trip.
Is it just me - or do other people get excited about visiting an area when they learn more about what makes it great? This is a very nice little place with clean bathrooms - but what really rates those 5 stars is those VERY knowledgeable and helpful ladies who work there. When we left, we had a long list (and helpful maps and brochures) that filled our short visit with exactly what we wanted to see and do. This is a great visitor center for a great town!
The ladies that I dealt with there were amazing. I always seemed to have to use a restroom after riding the ferry! They have a nice "one-holer"! They were also able to give me great tips on where to eat. We love Port A and are thrilled that it is more like its pre-Harvey status. Well.with a lot more houses crowded into the same space!
Great visit. The 2 gals working there were very friendly and helpful. They issued my overnight beach camping permit and helped me get orientated to where everything is in town. Plus some free goodies like a pen, chapstick and window decal plus informative brochures on the town.

They need to investigate these golf cart places like TOP DECK OF 11TH street to protect the tourists from having their money stolen. $100s to thousands of dollars, only to be given, or not given a golf cart that doesn't run.or not a cart at all
