This was my first time here. I always wanted to go in this business but just hadn't had time. Well, everyone should make the time to go get a glimpse of heaven! Plants, flower arrangements, gifts, garden decor and ideas galore! It is so beautiful and the owner is so sweet and inviting! I will definitely go back for gorgeous gifts for myself and others! Love, Loved it!

Always a pleasurable experience shopping with these ladies! They take the time to answer my many questions whether it be about furniture & refinishing or plant care. I’m a customer for life!

I am finally writing this review after almost 3 months of my last and final visit. I really had to let my anger subside. It is 2022, and almost 2 yrs after the outbreak of the Covid virus has invaded all our lives. I have only visited Portilla twice, as I am from The Woodlands area (over an hour away). I had been saving money to go there once I was vaccinated and purchase many plants and fairy garden items.
My mom and I walked in (wearing masks), and the blonde lady on the furniture side was checking out a women (Asian), and as she is taking her money she begin to raise her voice to the women, and sarcastically begin to tell her that she couldn't understand her, and that she "hated when people wear masks and try and talk". My mom and I were on the plant side and couldn't believe what we were hearing. I was furious and felt so bad for the women. She quickly left and sat in her car looking humiliated. I raise my voice and said, "im not spending my money here! You should not have said that, and keep your opinion to yourself. What kind of busniess owner are you? " And she smiled and waved.
If she doesn't want to wear a mask, thats on her, but to get upset because someone else chooses too, is ignorant. Shame on her.

So glad I found this gem. Gorgeous plant selection and full stock of Annie Sloan chalk paint for my furniture projects. Very friendly owners, willing to help.

Stopped in for the first time on 01-14-2021 Portilla Home & Garden had a little bit of so many interesting things. My wife and I especially loved the different types of Succulent Plants. I would definitely recommend Portilla Home & Garden to everyone.

This is my new go to for anything Annie Sloan! They carry a huge amount of chalk paint, brushes, wax, lacquer, gilders wax and more. Not to mention so many beautiful items in store for sale.
Not only all of that, they are extremely nice, so helpful and so very welcoming! Such a very pleasant experience all around.

I’ve shopped here for years and I can’t express this enough but the owner Elaine is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met, it’s also a huge shock knowing she’s on of the owners! I can’t stand coming into this shop anymore just because of this vile women. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

One of the coolest places- full of awesome plant arrangements and beautiful decor and furniture. Every time I go I get new ideas. One of the best parts is that they are very reasonably priced! Great place to pick up a one of a kind hostess gift.

Wonderful owners and hospitable service. We visited for the first time and drove in from nearby downtown Houston - will be back for sure. Our daughter (7) loved the store as well and there were so many treasures to browse through. We ended up stocking up on some tropicals and succulents for the home along with some decoratives.

What an absolute GEM of a shop. I happen to live very far away and yet regularly make the drive to Portilla because it's worth it. The shop owner Elaine has curated the most remarkable collection of treasures with a gorgeous and effortless French casual aesthetic that is so hard to achieve. Items are much more reasonably priced than other shops and I always leave with my car stuffed full of amazing finds. Elaine has such a beautiful eye for design and always recommends beautiful additions to my collection of her pieces, which always draws gushing compliments from anyone who visits my home. Shopping here is delightful in every way and I tell everyone I know about it. You're going to love it here!

Oh my gosh! If you are looking for something unusual, beautiful and fun, you have to shop at Portilla. Employees are so friendly, creative and helpful. I love this store.located in downtown Rosenberg.

I loved Portilla Home and Garden. It is the cutest little shop and they have amazing pieces of furniture for the home. I found them online and made the drive to pick it up. It fits perfectly in my home. The owner was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a unique piece of furniture.

This shop is amazing! Gorgeous plants and potted arrangements, chic and updated furniture and accessories. All reasonably priced. Best kept secret in Rosenberg! I will be coming back here often.
