Potbelly, Dallas TX

Must have been a management change. I’ve been going here for years. My recent visit revealed a filthy restaurant with servers serving nothing but attitude. It’s such a shame nice little venues like this can’t figure it out.

I came here about 2 nights ago for the first time and was excited to try it out. The employee who was helping me was horrible! She was a short Hispanic girl with tattoos I believe her name was cece. She was sooo rude and had a very bad attitude. She got upset that I kept asking questions about the menu and the prices for the add ins but it was my first time here how am I suppose to know! Pot belly needs to have better training for these employees. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN, just HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called the manager and left a complaint and all he said was he will talk to his crew like no these employees need to be better trained!

Due to the storm we had to choose pick up, So as Im visiting my sick bestie her gentlemen of a friend decides to pick it up for us, as he enters the store to pick up our lunch. He is then met with and employee with a nasty disposition and very rude. I will never eat at this establishment again Im utterly appalled.

They forgot my order minutes after I gave it to them. On my avocado cheese turkey sandwich they forget the avocado and cheese. Ordered a sandwich and soup combo and they charged me for an original and kept telling me they made me an original but it was definitely the ‘skinny’ shorter size but thankfully they did give me the soup. Overall they seemed very disorganized and not at all like they had it together. This was my first time and it was a bad experience. Sorry I won’t be coming back

This used to be the best spot with quick and great service but after today's experience, I'm not sure I will be back. It's part my fault because as soon as I saw the girl who has has been working there about 4 to 6 months, I knew I should had turned around and walked out. This young girl has no sense of urgency or team effort, she just stands there and waits while 8 sandwiches backed up on belt (my 2 we're in the middle) until the manager finally said something. When we received the sandwiches they were cold and then I had already paid and had to wait on a salad I had ordered. I'm not sure what happened to the other crew but it's the one employee who seems to stand waiting for someone else to do the work. It's a shame. I don't know how they make it through lunch rush unless she is scheduled evenings only. I was standing there waiting for 30 minutes (a couple in front of us who were completely forgotten about, 2 guys in front of us, then ME, then a young lady behind us) I come here once a week. PLEASE HELP THIS LOCATION. While waiting for salad and customer was on the phone complaining wanting a refund.

Everybody was so helpful and nice. It was my first time here. A young man explained everything about the menu to me and some recommendations. I got the big Italian and it was BIG and delicious. I couldn't eat it all so it's lunch for tomorrow. Great place doing customer service right. I was a customer service supervisor for 15 years so I have very high standards. 5 gold stars from me. I also liked the sandwich presentation as well, you got me with my eyes and taste buds.

I don't like to leave bad reviews, but just about everyone in this place had a terrible attitude. Not necessarily mean, just like they hate being there and we're annoyed we were ordering sandwiches. Not a pleasant experience. I'll stick with any of the other Potbelly's.

Debated writing a review bc I eat at this location so often and never had a problem, but holy hell, the girl making our sandwich was probably the rudest person I’ve encountered in the service industry. She had black and blue curly hair. I won’t be back to this location l. Hope y’all fix your rude staff issues. Noticed I’m not the only one complaining about it

I have been here severally and never have I encountered such a rude staff. My order was supposed to be ready 30mins. I waited an extra 20mins only for this boy right there to be extremely rude and tell me he doesn’t know what to say to me. “Like it’s being worked on and there are other people waiting so I don’t know why you are complaining”. You don’t talk to anyone like that. This boy is rude and needs to be taught good customer service. Such a shame

Today at lunch the lady asking what sandwich I wanted was extremely rude. I misunderstood her when she asked “how are you” and I said what sandwich I wanted to order, and she very rudely snapped back and yelled at me saying “how are you is the question that I asked”. I wont be returning to the Knox location.

They made my sandwich wrong three times. Wanted to fight me and my boyfriend over a sandwich, and the big guy said he wanted to fight me (female) after I told him he should change gloves after touching money lol. Bunch of low life’s working at this location.

I go for the cookies and shakes occasionally. Same young lady is always there. She's always rude when I ask for my shake a certain way. ALWAYS!

Shop closed down 30 minutes early…. Guess now why I know why the cashier/manager who answered the phone attempted to discourage me from coming into the store.

I called in at 8: 15pm to place an order for pickup. The individual who answered said I had to come in person, they were no longer taking orders over the phone. She then told me that I could only pay in cash and when I asked why that was, she said their “servers were down”. I assume now that by “down” she meant they had started to close up shop…. Nearly an hour before close time, 9pm. So I get dressed, drive 15 minutes to go to this store (which is supposed to close at 9pm), only to discover that they are already closed for the night: 15-30 minutes before their close time. Great! Just great! I’m all for employees taking off early. I’m sure everyone on shift was tired and ready to go home, but, I wish at least that I would have been informed over time phone instead of wasting time, thinking that this store would still be fully operational given their business hours.

This place is at joke with the evening crew. Manager is terrible at leading, some of the staff do not know what their job is. My sandwich stood on the conveyor belt for atleast 10 minutes before someone realizing that we were waiting. Haha. Idk who runs this store, but you leadership here is non-existent!

Terrible service. Bought a meal, did not know bacon was extra. Asked to add bacon before the sandwich had even been out of the the oven (offered to pay the extra fee) and the response was “it’s too late. ”

So sad because Potbelly is normally so good but the service here is horrendous. Super rude staff

Delivery never showed up, phone rep was awful. Told me that they were going to be on their way and literally never showed up. Tried calling back multiple Times, they either would answer and hang up then eventually would just let the phone ring and not answer worst experience ever never ever ever going back

I'm never coming back, bad bad service, negligent and unwilling to listen.
I was also welcomed by a trash bag at the entrance.
The current rate is definitely overrated.

I just had a terrible experience here. It was my first time eating here. I ordered an avocado turkey sandwich and they warmed it up but when we got to the topping section they told me they were out of avocado. I told them when I ordered my Avocado Turkey sandwich, why didn’t they tell me they were out of avocado. Instead of being nice and apologizing, the lady told me “how I’m I supposed to know what you ordered, we don’t have avocado period. There’s nothing I can do”. I could forgive not having avocado but the lady was so rude I told her to keep the sandwich I’m going somewhere else.
