Potteryland Studio, The Woodlands TX

Brought my girls here to pick some pieces to paint for gifts. The process was simple and they did well, although I would not bring kids along that are prone to breaking things. The paint selection was good and although my little one made a series of messes with the paints, they were all easy to clean (I washed her sweater and no problems at all). The setup is good and I recommend grabbing one of the swivel plates (like a lazy susan) for pieces that small hands will paint. The prices are a bit high, but reasonable, just make sure to check the prices ahead of time so you aren't surprised. I think a kids party here would be great. I am very happy with how all of the pieces turned out and we are set for several family birthdays for sure.

I am not an artist and although there seemed to be an array of ways to complete various styles, this place is more of a DIY kind of place. So much so that they allow you to create paint kits to take home and then bring painted pieces back for them to fire and finish in their kiln.

All in all, good memories and big messes for slightly more than I bargained for, but still I'm very glad I found this place. Will certainly be back with my girls. May have to look up some painting guides first!

So much fun! We visited for a bachelorette party and were not disappointed - great selection of items to paint for all ages. This is one of my favorite pastimes. I felt like a kid again! If you’re looking for a fun group activity or just to get your creative juices flowing I definitely recommend coming here. The only downside is that it is pretty pricey, so just be mindful of this before you go. Total for my mug was $32 with $5 studio fee. I look forward to coming again!

Showed up at 7: 05 and rejected four customers when the hours of operation say they close at 8. Horrible just horrible experience and we didn’t even go in.

Literally so fun. Came here for a relaxing date activity and we will definitely be repeat customers. Very nice music playing, and lots of paints and every piece of pottery you could want to choose from. Also our stuff was ready in like 3 days and it was cheaper than any other place we could find around us.

Took my family from out-of-town to Potteryland Studio for something different to do and it was a lot of fun! The place was very clean and comfortable. They have a lot of pottery to choose from and lots of paint colors, etc. I believe our helper's name was Jess. She explained and demonstrated how it all worked. She was super nice and helpful. She answered all of our questions plus she kindly cleaned up after our mess. We definitely will recommend Jess and this place to our friends. We will be back!

We have been to this store numerous time and always have a wonderful time! It took us a while to each find pieces we liked as the selection didn't really fit us too much. But if you are looking for Halloween you must stop by! The prices were a little more than we expected and all of the aprons were being washed. Needless to say we got paint on our clothes. Otherwise it was a great time! The ladies working were very friendly and helpful.

It's my new favorite place. It's really relaxing and they always have so many great options. The rules are simple and the employees are nice.

Have brought friends and family here multiple times and they always love it! The studio is always very clean and they have fun pieces to paint. But most impressive is their staff! The girls are incredibly helpful. Specifically, Jess, has helped us every time we visit. She is always in a cheerful mood and ready to help, wether it’s taking away our used paint palettes, renewing our brush cleaning water, cleaning up after our messes, or complimenting my very amateur painting skills! Can’t wait to come back for another pottery painting date and experiencing excellent customer service!

We always enjoy painting pottery here. It is a great way to bond with my daughter and we enjoy sharing a good time painting and talking. We always end up with pieces that are forever memories of the time we spent together. I highly recommend it for a parent child, or even a fun date with a spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend. The management and employees are always kind and helpful, too.

Had my daughter's birthday here and it was absolutely incredible. I could not believe the amound of help we had with EVERYTHING. The staff was unbelievable, keeping the kids entertained and keeping us on track with the schedule. They helped us set up and clean up and cut the cake and hand out goodie bags. Not to mention helping kids with their painting projects. The atmosphere was perfect. The space was great, sufficient for all the parents to sit and chat or help their kids with the painting. They had everything thought out so there was a table for us to setup snacks, an area for food, an area for goodie bags, etc. Then they even had all the kids sign a special plate that they painted with my daughter's name and birthday as a special commemorative gift of the occasion. The kids had a fantastic time and a couple of the parents have already scheduled their kids' birthdays here as well, after seeing how incredible ours was. The owner is sweet and attentive.honestly the place is great and the activities are wonderful, but the thing that sets this place apart (and motivated me to even write this review) was the staff. We have never had such a pleasant birthday party experience.

Excellent place with great staff. A must visit if you enjoy having personalized items around the house. Been there 3 times now and loved it each time.

We were really looking forward to going here for my daughter's birthday with one of her friends but left after we walked in the door. The place was almost at full capacity and 95% of the people were not wearing a mask including the employee who greeted us at the door. Due to their disregard for people's health and general welfare of others we will never go back regardless of the quality of product in the store. This is the most unethical behavior of a business I've witnessed during the pandemic.

Edit: At the time of my review, mid-January, the state was requiring masks and CDC recommendations were not being followed in your business. I'm not just going around leaving bad reviews for the sake of doing it. I'm sorry you disagree with what WE witnessed when entering your business. My daughter and her friend are 12 and said they were uncomfortable with the situation. You had one small portion of a table available at the time and your employees weren't wearing masks. Majority of the people in there, without food, weren't wearing masks. I understand this hasn't been easy on small businesses and is the exact reason why we were there, to support a small business. We were obviously comfortable enough to go out and celebrate my daughter's birthday but when you walk into a place that is literally following zero guidelines while our hospitals are being overrun by a pandemic you tend to lean on the side of caution.

Very fun time! Our family went here and had a lot of fun painting, talking and just hanging out! Our finished products were ready earlier than expected.

Had my daughters 10th birthday here and it was great! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful
