Power On, Liberty Hill TX

Just not a good experience overall. We have a rental home close to Liberty Hill, TX and needed a provider to install a charger in the home garage for a EV vehicle for the home renters. This was the worst experience ever. Not responding to our calls, not following up on the appointment time and day. And after finally coming to do the work, the job was so poor, we had to call in another vendor to fix their work. I do not recommend this company for any EV electrical work.

I am so impressed with the work that Power On did on my property. They provided excellent customer service and were always available to answer my questions. The final product looks fantastic and I am already seeing a significant reduction in my energy bill.

I hired Power On, and they performed a great job. They assisted me in selecting the ideal system for my needs because they were highly knowledgable. The installation went without a hitch, and the finished effect is stunning. I heartily endorse this business.

I am sorry i have to resort to this and i want to warn other customers. My schedule for a generac unit install has been postponed 3 times, only 1 time i believed was reasonable. I have asked them for a reschedule various ways. I am getting no responses from Zack or Cody (who i am told is co-owner). I have paid 6K in advance and I am now wondering if I should file a complain somewhere or ask for money back. If someone is this busy, does not mean a customer who has already paid large money in good faith in advance gets ignored. I wonder if this is a legit biz or not?

Tito did the electrical for my Generac stand by generator and I would highly recommend tito for any and all electical needs. The communication was a little shaky while waiting for the installation, due to the back order, but as soon as tito was assigned to our job, he was constantly communicating which turned around my entire experience as his customer service/communication skills were some of the best I had experienced. The day before and the day of the install, he answered all the questions my wife and I had and he even sent me pics throughout the day so I could see every step of the install and make sure it was exactly to my liking. Tito is great with customers on top of being a great licensed electrician. I highly recommend him!

Contracted for Generator Install and gave down payment in early January 2022. Company said it wouldn't happen until May. Phoned in May. They said June/July. Phoned in July, they said August. Then September. Finally, in October, I asked for my $ back. The owner came to my home and promised progress the next week. 2 weeks passed, then finally a ditch was dug. Generator placed on pad and electric hooked up and then nothing for several weeks and no communication. Finally, I contracted someone to do the gas. PowerOn finished final startup, about 2 hours of work in December. At every point, I had to reach out to this company and only when I made demands did work get done. I understand the long timeline. That's true everywhere. What I don't understand was the lack of communication and lack of fulfillment of promises: "We will be there for sure next Tuesday" and then no show and no communication. I have ZERO confidence that this company will service the unit in a timely manner. So, that greatly reduced the value for me. I requested a discount for my troubles. They reduced my bill by a paltry amount and the cost of parts of items they didn't do. I would not use them again. If you do, make sure you get an itemized list of the cost BEFORE you sign the contract. Then you will know how much you can reduce their charge if you have to do the work yourself.

Clay Johnson did a wonderful job with a generator installation. He is careful, hard working, honest and a joy to work with.

Richard and the team at Power On took over the install of a whole house generator and they did a great job fixing a bunch of issues and navigating the permitting process. Josh was onsite throughout the process and was always on time, professional and friendly. He came back just this week for my first oil change and walked me through the regular maintenance requirements. I've recommended them to all of my neighbors.

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY……. They hire Subcontractors to do work for them. Then turn around submit invoice to the customer. They keep the money and don’t pay the Subcontractors. They currently owe us close to $6,000.00. Very bad business, unprofessional and very disappointing.

I used PowerOn to install a natural gas generator and the whole experience was fantastic. They did every part of it, from digging the pipes in the yard to installing the subpanel and working out the paperwork with the energy and gas company. It's been a year since the install and they still return regularly to help service the gen when its necessary. If you hit them up for work, ask for Josh - he is a a real expert at this stuff and has been extremely helpful the whole time.

This company is Very unprofessional. They will gladly take your deposit and not return calls or texts. Worst communication of any company I’ve ever dealt with. Just in case you do go with them use your credit card for the deposit. That way you can dispute the charge like I did. Months went by with nothing from them. Cody said we have you scheduled but that day came and pasted by weeks. Then I disputed the charge and got a call from his father thinking okay, now they will get busy. Nope nothing. Don’t waste your time.
