Prairie Crossing, Farmers Branch TX

I’ve lived at Prairie Crossing since 2019. I had to quickly move from my home and the leasing office was so accommodating and helpful with helping me with that transition. Over the years, this complex has become my home and I love everything about it. I rarely need to reach out for anything, but when I go to the office and speak to staff members like Cassie, I’m always met with a smile and outstanding customer service. I’ve even referred friends to move into the complex. Great location, awesome apartment layouts, and the best office staff ever!

Jacque was very courteous and amazing going thru the application process and showing us around making sure the apartment was a fit for us.

If you are looking for a place to live that offers security, tranquility, good neighborhood, excellent neighbors, then Prairie crossing is the place. I have been living in this community for 3 years and I must say that it is one of the best experiences I have had, the leasing staff is always willing to help you, and especially Ceaira Nixon who is the Assistant Community Manager and a great person and does an excellent job, do not hesitate to join our community you will not regret it!

Isaiah and Alex are always very helpful and quick to fix any situation! I love the blue ceilings in the hallways and the new light fixtures!

Living at this apartment complex has been a home away from home. The staff is attentive. Ceaira in particular is very prompt and efficient whenever I have doubts. With a busy schedule I’m not always able to go into the leasing office but she provides clear information whether over the phone or via email. Thanks you Ceaira for everything!

Blake helped us through the application process and was very patient and knowledgeable of the property.
Cassie helped us on move in day and everything since we moved in! Great Location with easy access to the Tollway and multiple grocery stores/shopping/restaurants near by as well. So far it has been a quite community as well, not very rowdy.
Even through some small hiccups the whole leasing team has been very helpful and great customer service.

Prairie Crossing is a hidden gem in Farmers Branch. It is affordable for the location, size and finishes of the apartments compared to many other communities around the area. I personally didn't have any issues other than small maintenance problems and they were resolved very quickly. The staff at Prairie Crossing is the best. Michele is the kindest, most caring manager this place has ever had and she truly cares about every resident living at her community. I loved my apartment/floorplan so much that I chose it as a setting to ask my girlfriend to marry me. If we hadn't purchased a home, I would continue living at Prairie Crossing for as long as Michele is there.

Blake has been very helpful and always helps me when I have needed it. My move-in was smooth and Blake helped me address initial concerns promptly to make me feel comfortable at my new home, sooner!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. THANK GOD they have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee because we ended up not even moving in after having the keys for two weeks.

There was a ton of back and forth about items that needed to be fixed that we found during our initial walk through. Two electrical outlets needed fixing (that was the ONLY thing fixed), the dishwasher was rusted on the inside and completely disgusting, a security system was mounted on the wall but the rest of the system was not put in (and we were informed it would never be completed), the door to the laundry area was broken (we were told they can't order the part), the lights on the microwave to display the time were burnt out (we were told this could not be fixed either), the entire apartment smelled of cigarette smoke, and someone had peed on our toilet seat prior to us even moving in! I had to call the front office multiple times regarding these items and was told "maintenance completed it" but standing inside the apartment and only ONE of those items was completed.finally they said they would order a new dishwasher but it would take two more weeks. NOPE, I'm out.

Also within 48 hours of getting the keys, we got an email about multiple cars being broken into in the "secure garage" but the gate had never worked for the two weeks that we did have the keys. The interior of these apartments appear to be nice but on closer inspection they are completely outdated and they don't care about anything (horrible paint jobs, cigarette smoke lingering, pee on toilet seats, etc.). They also nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING! You have to pay to park in the "secure" parking garage (and so do any guests). Want another clicker to get in/out of the building because you live with a roommate or SO? Sorry, you have to pay for it (no reimbursement)! Renter's/liability insurance? You HAVE to get theirs. Secured Parcel Pending for package receiving sounds cool right? Until you have to pay $15/monthly for it!

Do yourself a favor and find some where else in a better location at a better price.

Right off the bat, the leasing staff was kind and accommodating. No self guided tours or getting lost in a strange building. Cassie and Robin both took great care of us, and were part of the excitement in finding our new home. Not just a transaction.

As someone who does small construction/remodels as a side job, Im pretty judgmental of build quality, and found this place to be in better shape than nearly every place we toured in the area. Doors all close correctlypaint was do very few squeaks and creaks, The floors aren’t paper thin like some of the places we toured, Great water pressure, and all appliances work as they should. It’s a quality building at a very reasonable price point.

We spent a month searching for our new home and when we finally decided to pull the trigger here, they honored the specials/deal we were quoted a month ago when the floor plan we wanted finally became available. I dare you to try to find a complex in the area that will do that.

To sum it all up, it’s quality that’s affordable with real people taking care of you. Night and day difference from our previous apartments. We are very happy. If you’re thinking about moving here, this is the sign you needed to see. Let’s be neighbors

I came in unexpectedly for a tour, but Blake was more than helpful with narrowing down what I wanted and guiding me towards economical decisions. Really considerate property that offers cool community engagement opportunities

I came in for a tour with my boyfriend and was greeted by Cassie. She was very helpful and answered all of our questions. She went above and beyond! We were very content with our tour experience.

Big shout out to Blake for walking us through the whole process from viewing the apartment complex to signing a lease. He was very patient, answered all our questions, was very professional, polite, and responded quickly. The whole process was like nothing that I have experienced before with apartments. He made the process smooth and simple. We had a few hiccups upon move in, but Blake got maintenance out right away to handle things. Also, Darrell the maintenance man is absolutely amazing!

The complex is very nice and clean. The grounds and apartments are well maintained. The unit itself is very nice and the amenities are wonderful. We love the dog areas and the dog friendly environment!
