Dr Pate and his staff are amazing. Very friendly and on top of everything. Dr Pate is an excellent doctor and I would recommend him highly.

I've been waiting 12 days for my methacolene challenge test results. Still waiting. Nurse is very rude.

I was so excited to have a new pulmonologist in Abilene since I was driving to Ft Worth to see mine. After agreeing to have an invasive lung biopsy, Dr Pate's attitude changed. The results were not what he expected so he turned me over to his NP, Laurie Bass. What a waste of time! During the whole time I was a patient there, nothing was written in my records pertaining to the treatment I was to begin. I had all the special tests they required, but the new medication was never called in to my pharmacy. I have never had such poor treatment from a doctor! My GP, Dr Barris has done more for me than the "specialist" and his incompetent assistant ever did. I will not return. Such a disappointment!

We live in Olden Tx which is over an hour away. Got there early to make sure we were on time. Went in to use restroom dr office called to cancel apt because he was called away to an emergency. They said he woldnt be back for the rest of the day. With gas prices like they are it cost us $50.00 to go and come. We can't afford that plus it took nearly a week to get in to see him. I have 2 diffrent kind of infections in my lungs my primary said i need a specialist to clear it up. If your going to be on call dont see patients that day. People can afford for you to cancel on them.

I have had a cough for two and a half years. Dr. Pate has finally helped with knowing part of the cause. So grateful.

My dad has severe sleep apnea. His previous Dr retired and we were referred to Dr Pate. He was so rude! Literally came in and told us to regulate my dad's sleep pattern and see you in a year and walked out! Will not be going back!
