Price's Chef reviews
15 The options for good, old-fashioned breakfast near Shoreline Drive are pretty thin, but we came across this place. It's like taking a step back in time to 1963 with the decor and the vibe.
The food was good, but could have used some more seasoning to my taste. That's probably a pretty small complaint. There was plenty to eat and the biscuits had to end up in a go box because there was just so much food.
All in all, we had a good breakfast at a good price, and will stop by once again next time we are in town.
Ordered a pancake breakfast plate which was good and filling. I noticed a lot of people ordering the turkey dinner, which I might get next time. Service was great and friendly. It’s a little cramped, but aren’t all the best restaurants?
If I could give this place 50 stars I would! Great food, great people, and just an overall great time! I’ll definitely be back here every time I visit.
We love Prices Chef. It has a hometown feel, with delicious food and great, friendly service.
I've been to a number of diners over the years, and Price's Chef is in my top three. Food was great and everyone was helpful and friendly.
Great breakfast spot! So glad we found it. The food was absolutely delicious. Hash browns were ah-mazing! Corn beef hash was also the best we had from a breakfast joint. Staff were super friendly and fast. Would recommend!
Always a fantastic way to start a day, whether in the morning or at noon. We come here often and am never disappointed. I only 4-star the atmosphere because the A/C could use work.
Majority of the good lacked flavor. Had to send hashbrowns back for they were soggy. Pancakes were the best thing but are thin. Ordered prices breakfast & the chicken fried steak. Our server Mary forgot my pancakes twice for one order, I had to reach out to another server inwhich she immediately gave me my pancakes. Breakfast here is okay.
What a awesome place. Great Food, Great Atmosphere, and great friendly service. We'll be back.
Good food fast indeed! Hostesses were excellent along with the food. Atmosphere was serene yet had that vintage diner vibe to it. All-in-all, not too bad at all. Great value.
The best home cooked meal I've had in a very long time. The cook staff are very talented.
I love the old time feel. Very busy on Sunday but our waitress mary was awesome.prices were perfect!
We ordered 3 cheese burgers, two with onion rings and 1 with fries. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Great food and great service.
I like the breakfast here.
Though, the place could use a thorough cleaning. Like, scrubbed every inch.
You can tell it's been open for a very long time.
Went for lunch. Had one of the specials which was chicken and dumplings and I got macaroni and cheese for a side and spinach. I got one of the soups of the day which was cream of poblano. The Chicken and dumplings were excellent, I love the mac & cheese, the poblano soup was creamy and had a nice burn to it that built on you, but never got too hot. The meal came with desert which today was banana pudding and it was excellent. I certainly didn’t leave the place hungry, I was full. There’s a reason this place has been around for so many years. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and the food is just good old comfort food. I don’t believe I’ve ever had a bad meal here.
