Prius World of Austin LLC

2023-Nov Prius World will defy expectations of a tiny used car lot.

It’s sorta like Discount Tire Company in that Prius World has taken the slimy out of the chore of buying a used car, at least if you are buying a used Prius since that’s pretty much all they sell.

They know how to fix them up and maintain them, and they seem to genuinely care that they are selling people good quality reliable vehicles.

All at the best prices I can find in the greater Austin metro area.

I should know, as a two time buyer. A woman ran a red light to total my second Prius, so I bought its replacement from Prius world. Then the most recent hail storm took out the front and rear glass and dented every body panel, so i made my second Prius World purchase (of my fourth Prius.)

Both Prius World cars have been sold “as is” but the management has bent over backwards to take care of issues that one can only discover once one has been driving more than a test drive. They had ZERO legal obligation to do so, and I didn’t really ask. I was scheduling the service because I wanted to get things taken care of at a reasonable price.

And since I live far enough away that I wait while the work is being done, I’ve overheard other customers getting similar excellent treatment.

Don’t let the appearances fool you…. The overhead is low. I would not hesitate to recommend this business to moms shopping alone or even teenagers looking for a first car. And I have. Two of my friends have purchased here.

You’ll get a good car that’s easy on the gas at a great price. No slime job.

So I bought a Prius from Michael last December when buying a used car was more expensive than it should have been. Not only did he give me a great deal on the car but offered great service. He made the process very quick and easy. He sent photos of the car before I came and made sure the car was nice and clean for me. A year later I crashed the Prius and contacted Michael to see if he could help me get it back on the road. He had the entire front of the car fixed in less than a week and did it at an incredibly reasonable price based on other quotes I got. He was great with communicating with me during the time he had the car for repairs and I’m very happy with the work he did. I hope I never buy another Prius again because they’re Lowkey ugly but it has definitely been a reliable and fuel efficient car. And if I did have to buy another Prius I’d definitely check prius world first!

What an amazing experience I had with Prius World. Michael, the owner is a man of his word and is very knowledgeable about anything car related. So my engine was shaking and stopped running. I had my vehicle towed here after talking with Michael. I returned in the morning and Michael meet with me outside. Within 10min he already knew and found the problem. Fixed it with ease. Very knowledgeable with these cars. Then he blessed me by not charging me anything. Which I am very thankful for being a single father. So with all this I will be bringing my car here for any service needs. Thank you again!

Should have wrote this sooner but I'd give 10 stars if I could. Michael and Ismael are as straight as they come when it comes to auto dealers. Had a few issues with initial purchase, they answered right away and helped me instantly. No questions, just wanted to resolve the issues. Ended up going with a different model but ended up with the perfect car. Have had it for months now, no issues great mileage and I love it. Can't recommend them enough, honest auto dealers are hard to come by.

I’d been trained (like most people) to think all car dealers are crooks. This guy is a total exception to the rule. I had a problem with my Prius a couple months after buying it, and he fixed it in under 5 minutes and as if I’d just driven it off the lot. Made my day.
What really impressed me is that he is as hard working and honest as the best of small business owners I’ve ever met (and I’m one, myself).
I will definitely be going to him for any future maintenance my car needs, because I’m positive he’ll do a better job at a fair price.

This dealer is the best if you want to buy Toyota Prius. I bought 2008 Toyota Prius from them. They are very friendly respectfull and trustable guys I have ever seen in car industry. They are very good at communication (saying this as a international person who has low English skills). They know what they do. Cuz of that they are selling just Prius. Also they gave guarantee 14 days and they have behind of it. After 10 days my screen stopped working. Freezing and black screen sometimes. They said come here we will change it or do whatever needs. I said I dont have time and for now its working again if it happens can I come. They said whenever it happens just let us know. It happened again I will go soon.

Honest, up front and no gimmicks. Great experience and had the perfect little prius at right price. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Mike has been very helpful and knowledgeable in Prius cars. I contacted him via phone and he resolved my start button issue within few minutes. I recommend him for any Prius issues.

Michael was heaven sent! Not all heroes wear capes He knew what I was looking for and got me exactly what I wanted. Such a great soul. I totally understand why his reviews are outstanding. Buckle in this is a long review because I have a lot to say.

About 6 months ago I bought a Prius from them, my bank ended up backing out on the loan but because I was working I wasn't able to return it for over a week I explained this to Mike to which was I completely understand. Instead of him getting frustrated he spent that week fixing up a newer model Prius with a 2000 more miles it was a nicer shape and it was a new model. He was trying to sell it for 2000 more but because of the headache that had come with everything he gave it to me for the same price.

I love my car deeply and it's run amazingly.

Mostly because anytime anything is going wrong with it I've been able to call him directly for advice and free of charge he's helped me with it, that's completely disregarding the fact that when something broke on it a few weeks past warranty I brought it down and he fixed it for free if I'd have taken it to another dealership it would have cost me about $800.

I don't have much more to say other than thank you everyone here is fantastic you can't find a better place to buy. And I mean that.

Definitely the place to get a Prius. Not only are they reasonably priced but they also provide exceptional customer service and after care on your car. This includes repairs of any kind.

What a hidden gem. After a serious car crash our family wanted to replaced our destroyed Prius, as it was our perfect car. Living in the Midwest a problem with long lived vehicles can be salt damage, so I decided to look online in a city that I had family in and stumbled on this dealership. I am so grateful I did. Michael is an upstanding honest guy who just wants to do right by his customers. No haggling, no hidden fees, just a great car for a fair price. He even made sure to service it before I took it off the lot so I would be safe driving across the country solo. Unfortunately the vehicle I purchase from him was 11 years old, so months later had a serious unpredictable mechanical problem that would have cost me 7k to fix and I was devastated. I reached out to Michael, who was well within his rights to remind me it was an "as-is" sale. Instead, he called me immediately, talked through options, arranged shipping of the vehicle (which was 1200 miles away), and fixed it in such a manner that I know it will last me another 200,000 miles (with the proper maintenance of course!) Don't let the lack of a fancy showroom throw you- the he has invested where it counts-in his mechanics and making sure their knowledge is up to task. I cannot recommend his dealership enough and when I'm in the market for another used Prius, I'll be knocking on his door-no matter where I live in the country!
