Do NOT use Progressive. They will Trick You into using their Snap Shot program. They will initially offer you a $40 per month discount. However, if you commute through downtown and traffic every day ans have to use your phone's Gps etc continuously, the Snap Shot will literally more than double (3 time) your monthly insurance premium as well as your overall policy (3 times). DO NOT GET TRICKED BY A $40 DISCOUNT PER MONTH TO GET THE SNAP SHOT. $40 DISCOUNT VS $200 MORE EVERY SINGLE MONTH FOR INSURANCE. No accidents, no tickets, no nothing. 3 times rate increased based solely upon braking and using the phone. All consumers should file a Class -Action lawsuit against Progressive for deceptive practices and trickery.

The people at Progressive Insurance are very nice, but they're money hungry liars as well. I was involved in a hit and run (Not at fault) with unfortunately another progressive customer. Well on top of not paying for my vehicles full damage from the hit and run they also didn't send me the check they were supposed cut to fix what they did cover (which should be ALL of the damages) The MANAGER Brandon Williams got my address wrong TWICE. They sent some tattooed women with a smile to take pictures and look at damages, but she was not competent, because she didn't even ask if my little manual vehicle was in gear when I was struck by this large SUV. Also after canceling my policy with them they charged me $155+ dollars even after my policy was paid up. (I have all the screenshots). I feel like I'm being punished even though I committed NO CRIME. I will never recommend this company to anyone. They just want your money.

Good place to purchase your insurance without intermediaries. With fair payment for what you need and purchase online what you need to add to your policy.

After reading all the reviews. Thank y’all for saving me a headache. I dealt with this with Allstate and do not want to deal with this with progressive too. On to Geico I go.

This is the shoddiest insurance company I ever dealt with for my Homeowners policy. They increased my premium twice by almost 35% within 40 days of me getting a quote and paying for homeowners’ policy. Initially I thought was saving money when I switched from previous carrier, not only I was dead wrong but now have buyer’s remorse since my deductible has also doubled compared to my previous coverage. The customer service agent was rudely pedagogic saying that I’m confused how the property insurance works. She claimed that they had to adjust my rates after interior inspection after verbal confirmation, but no one came inside my house, when I confronted about this, they retracted it was just an exterior inspection. It appears that these so-called inspectors are hired by them to inflate the dwelling coverage without any basis, so they can jack up the premiums while policy is in effect even when there are improvements made inside/outside the house. This is daylight robbery, and they get away with impunity knowing customers and regulators can’t do anything about their cartel like practices.

They are the worst. Do your self a favor and avoid them. They have the worst customer service and talk to you with an attitude like if you were bothering them. They will also over charge you with fees that you were never told about. They are a rip off. Avoid the headaches. I will be reporting them to the insurance bureau

If you want the greatest regret of your life. Get progressive insurance. I use them for my wine tour business for my vehicles. And they will do everything to rip you off. I’m going to report them to the insurance bureau in austin and take them to small claims court here soon.

Move from one state to another qith the policy of progressive and since then I've been under verification like I'm not with them. Not good so for an entire week I've been on hold and no answer from underwriting of progressive

I have been with Progressive for a few years (platinum member) and never filed a claim, or received any traffic violations. My rate increased by $56/mo this year. When I called I was told it is due to inflation, which is a lie, it's just greed. Your advertisements say you reward good driving, but that seems to be a lie as well. Maybe you should take better care of loyal customers. Now I have a policy that has 3x the coverage but cost me $40/mo less than Progressive. WAY 2 GO FLO!

She let me know that the company is not responsible for the misleading the previous agent made in telling me my prices were not going to go up. And they went up $50 and no soft skills nor simpathy during the whole call.
