Drive twenty miles to Round Rock HEB location to pay mother's bill. Guess what.location is no longer there. Called the number listed for the location and woman in South Austin answered. She told me that location closed and her location was the only one in Austin. She offered to take payment over the phone. I am paying CASH. Can't put cash in phone Asked her why this location is listed on Google. I don't know Told her Google site needs to be updated. She told me I had to call corporate. It's MY RESPONSIBILIT Guess these people are to stupid to know how to update the site. Taking Mom over to Direct Insurance. Looked at Insurance Dept site. This place has HUNDRED of complaints.

It's been 70 days since my accident and Pronto is dragging out the repair. Remember, if Pronto does this to you, directly file a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance.

Horrible experience and the nightmare is still ongoing. I got Pronto April 16 (2023) knowing that their coverage was not the greatest in the market. I was trying to save money so the price seemed economic. Upon signing up their system double charged my card (110 + 110). The following day after adding the insurance info to my Uber and Doordash accounts, I'm notified by these accounts that my insurance info is not being accepted by their system. I called Pronto to one of their 3 locations in AUSTIN and they inform me that they don't have coverage in Travis county. This caught me by surprise because their system never mentioned this when I signed up and because of the locations they have in the city.it didn't make sense. I asked them to cancel the policy and process both refunds. The insurance situation caused my Uber and Doordash accounts to be deactivated (doordash acct is in 3 month lock) because adding and removing the insurance info was flagged as suspicious activity. I finally got my Uber back on 5/18. That means I was w/out work for like 3-4 weeks. Their double charge when I signed up and being without work afterwards affected my rent payment, light payment, groceries.the refund for the double charge was finally processed on 5/3 this was 18 days after it had been originally charged. I called in again to ask what was happening with the second refund and demanded this was processed immediately because I had already waited more than their "7-10 days" they said they would report my account to be reviewed since I had been waiting so long, for it to be expedited and that someone would contact me - that did not happen. Finally on 5/18 I received a check in the mail dated 5/16 meaning they waited a whole month from when I canceled to issue it out.now Walmart, Heb and other places have not allowed me to cash the refund check because it "cannot be read" and others because it's an insurance check.its was only 110 for them but for me it cost me over $1,000 in overdue fees, lost wages and lost time. I'm still trying to see what to do with this check. I'll probably frame it as a reminder that "cheap isn't better".
