Pulmonary & Sleep Center of the Valley, McAllen TX

Paid 150 for 3 mins worth of time. Didn’t explain anything, I was told from DHR to follow up here and after 3 mins they said I would have to get DHR to take care of my situation. Places like this is why seeking medical help in the valley is a joke. How can I see a specialist for 3 mins and they boot me out their office, didn’t even explain anything. Absolute no help from this office and still had to pay. This is wrong and unfair. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I've been seeing Dr. Kaplan for around seven years now except for one year that I had a different insurance.
I would not change doctors for the world! My case is a little difficult in several ways, but Dr. Kaplan has really worked with me. I HIGHLY recomend him.
The office staff and the nurses are also very sweet and helpful.

I took my mom for consultation with Dr Gomez, he didn’t introduced himself, I asked him if he was the Dr. I asked him if my mom needed a pet scan since she has a tumor in her lung and her answer was “Do YOU HAVE A BACKGROUND IN MEDICINE “? As a concern for my mother I had questions, I never expected that he reacted like that. I guess his EGO IS SO BIG THAT HE IS CLOSED FOR SUGESTIÓNS. Very disappointed visit. I will request another doctor, hopping for better results. Very sad seeing a professional acting like that

This is my first time giving a review and with all due respect I dont think highly of doctors but I brought my daughter for her asthma and I have been suffering from Narcolepsy sleep apnea so I dont mean to fall asleep in places. I fell asleep and was snoring while Dr. Kaplan saw my daughter and told my wife not to wake me up he got concerned with the severity of my sleeping that without knowing if I had insurance or not he made me an appointment and was willing to treat me for free and told his nurses that he can't stand by and watch a man die before his eyes and do nothing he made me an appointment and got me in so fast. He brought my faith back that there are still doctors out there that remember why they became doctors, to save lives. I'm so grateful for him and will refer him to anyone above other doctors in his field. Thank You Dr. Kaplan.

I ike my mom is attended by The Medical Recepcionist & How The Pulmonologist is clear when giving Medical Diagnosis, Instructions & Answering Questions, where patients can understand!

Dr. Kaplan is the worst doctor. Very cold hearted. A horrible addition to this office. If you're looking for someone who is caring and gives you hope, Kaplan is definitely not the doctor for you

Dr. Mario Gomez was phenomenal, I was greeted kindly and promptly! Dr. Gomez listened to all of my concerns prior to treatment. He and his staff were very compassionate and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with my treatment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Gomez!

I was there a few months ago as a referral to see if I had sleep issues that were causing my migraines. I was more than impressed with the information they provided as well as the time they took to find out what problems I was having and speaking with me and guiding me. I saw both the doctor and PA, both were great. Amazingly so was the araff.

They ask you to be there 20 to 30 min before time.appointment is at 2pm and dont get called in till 2: 40 into room.plus another 30- 60min to get seen by dr. This is ridiculous. TAKE FOREVER.

I Have personally worked with these physicians in the hospital setting and can speak for their hard work and dedication to quality care for all of their patients.

I had an appoitment with Dr. Ortiz at 3: 00 pm, it is after 4: 30 pm and I have not been called in yet. I been waiting for over 1 1/2 hr in the lobby. It is very unprofessional to set up too many people at the same time and have them waiting for a long time. I will not comback to this office.

I want to thank the office manager for her prompt service in getting back in touch with me and rectifying the issue at hand. I appreciate you guys working with us in trying to fix the problem, also the way the office manager went about taking care of it is much appreciated.

Worst staff I have dealt with, it is pointless to have them working, they offer no help or solution's.
