Setting the Appt was quick and easy. We arrived and they welcomed us, guided us through their fantastic business. The facial technicians and masseuses were very professional and the services were amazing. I highly recommend the hot stone massage.

I got my massage by Nan and she is wonderful! Such a calming spirit and does a great job every time, would recommend:)

Simply a meh experience. Nothing horrible. Nothing memorable. A friend and I each had a massage and facial. The most disappointing factor was the lack of options for a facial. All said, the prices reflect this experience and are well worth it. If you’re looking for a low cost solid experience, try Pura Vida.

I'm amazed at so many good reviews.maybe I went on a bad day. I was gifted The Works package. This should have included a 1 1/2 massage, facial and Deluxe Pedicure. I was shorted 30min in my massage. Facial was mediocre. I can deal with that but what I didn't like was the confusion at the desk about payment. I paid the extra$26 for my upgraded facial I was not offered any thing for the mishap. I had to finally figure out payment. The entire spa day was so disappointing. Not what I thought at all! I could say more but I'll leave it at this- Dont waste your money and think your going to get a luxurious relaxing spa day here. There is much better places in Waco. And they don't even have coffee for a 9am appt

Highly recommend Pura Vida - I scheduled a spa day for our annual team building day. Service was awesome, the entire staff was very professional, we will be returning! Thank you Pura Vida staff - our ladies enjoyed their experience. The lounge area was perfect for us to visit between our services.

My husband purchased a gift card for me for a value of $300. We are a military family and traveled from out of state to use a little over half of the gift card. We are set to PCS with Army Orders in less than a month. We came down on orders fast or we would have been able to use the remainder of my gift certificate. I contacted the spa and asked if I could get the remainder of my balance refunded to me. The woman I initially spoke to was pretty rude. Said it was not their policy. (Policy is not stated online anywhere nor on the certificate purchased) She said she would then have the owner contact me. The manager decided to call and give me a run around about how I was lucky to have my balance transferred to their second location because their first is closed. She also told me that she could extend out my gift card balance but not refund me.

I am moving out of state and far away from our current duty station. There is absolutely no way for me to use the remainder of my balance.

Do not buy a gift certificate for this spa. They will not refund you for any reason should you have an extenuating circumstance and be forced to not use the remainder of your balance.

They do not care about military personnel.

Went for a couples massage Ann and Erin were the best. The place was clean smells amazing the staff was very friendly they cater to your needs we will definitely be going back!

A new addition to their crew, Bobby, did an amazing job. 6 months ago I threw out my shoulder and I've been to several chiropractors and massage therapists during that time and nome of them could get to the root of the issue. Bobby, however, was able to spot the problems and fix them and now I'm finally back to 100%. I highly recommend Pura Vida for everyone.

I have a monthly membership and I choose to book with Nan Spigener every month. She listens to my particular needs and does an excellent job helping me with chronic issues. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I have needed a hair cut for awhile and found April and i am so pleased. Many compliments received.

I wasn’t sure whether to put 5 or 1 stars…because I have had completely different experiences with my friends between their two locations. We initially had purchased a package for the 4 of us, and it was one of the best spa experiences we have had. We booked another set of facials only for one of our birthdays, and it was extremely disappointing. From the estheticians being distracted on their phones, to cold wash clothes being placed on our faces…it was less than desirable. We didn’t even have to say anything while waiting to pay during that experience, our faces as we all walked out was enough for all of us to know we were disappointed. I don’t know if it is the difference between the locations, or because we didn’t buy a more expensive package for the 2nd experience…but we all decided that we probably wouldn’t go back.

A great place to go for a massage, either at this location or Austin Ave. I see Nan monthly (as a part of the member program, gifted to me.) She’s amazing. Following the Facebook page is also helpful, because they post last-minute, discounted appointments.

They where very sweet and they all did they part to make sure that I had a wonderful spa day. I enjoyed every bit of it. 10 out of 10 will recommend.

Spent a chunk of money on this place and can't even get them on the phone to make an appointment. I'll call it what it is, a money trap.

Love, Love, Love this spa! Massages are THE best! Fabulous therapist at both downtown Waco locations. Only wish is that the Austin Ave location was also open on Mondays, but glad Franklin Ave is! So glad we found this diamond in the rough. Such a cute lobby, front desk and massage rooms.

I came here today (my birthday) as a gift from my husband. I had really high hopes and been needing a massage and even recommended for him to book me here because of the reviews. Unfortunately, I did not get that experience.

First of all, my husband booked me for an hour and 30 minute massage. I did not get that. I didn't even get an hour. I'm sure cameras could absolutely cooberate that (if someone actually cared to look into the matter). I was charged for an hour and it was 45-50 minutes.

Next issue was I specifically asked for deep tissue massage and was charged for it. I did not get a deep tissue massage. I have severe knots and muscle pain from carrying twins, and I can understand it may be uncomfortable for the massage therapist to put more pressure, but I could have been told that/not charged for a service I didn't receive.

Last issue was the receptionist. She wasn't rude, but certainly not friendly. When I was leaving and paying for my massage, I had to stand and wait a few minutes while she texted on her phone. So I sat down and a gentleman came to the front whom she immediately attended to. I cannot help but feel offended and slighted by that gesture, which again, can be confirmed through cameras.

Overall, I should not have left a professional massage with knots and still pretty achy. I was so frustrated and ready to leave that I cancelled my manicure and pedicure, despite knowing they would charge $35 and it being my birthday gift. I will not be returning or ever recommending this place again.

OH! Beware of fake positive reviews for this place. If they get a bad one, suddenly a bunch of amazing, repetitive reviews pop up shortly after. Wish I would have paid attention to that prior to coming here.

I highly recommend this spa. First, Sheila is AMAZING! She will give you the best facial of your life. She is knowledgeable and takes great care of your skin. She truly cares about her clients. Lisa does a fabulous job with my nails. I never know what I want and she comes up with the best color combinations. I always get so many compliments on my nails. Jordan, Olivia and Priscilla are also great! I always go to them for my pedis. And all of the massage therapists I’ve used have been exceptional. Rhonda and Courtney give the most relaxing massages. Juliette and Brooke are my go to therapists when I have a problem area I need targeted. If you like firm pressure, Ann and Aaron are great choices! Carla, Janice and Nan come highly recommended by my husband. They also have a hair salon. I personally use Erin and she does wonders with my hair. All of the stylists there are great! It’s a friendly, relaxing environment and I love all of the staff there!

I love this spa because it holds clients' rights and personal beliefs very high. I love not being forced to wear a mask, and also love not being harassed about my medical history. My choice to vaccinate (or not) is no ones business but my own. If you're scared-stay home!
