23I gave this gym a 5 star because the gym is super clean and the front desk girls are wonderful! I feel safe coming here during this whole COVID 19! However my only complaint is the manager Emily. I spoke with her and she was very condescending and I felt like she did not want to even talk to me. Instead of nicely reminding people to keep their mask up she yells at people from her office. She’s Rude! I have been a member for a long time and I would like to feel appreciated by a manager.
This is a fantastic women’s gym and fitness club! The staff are super conscientious about safety and cleanliness. You will be greeted at the door by some of the friendliest and loveliest girls I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! The cost itself is incentive enough to take a look at only $10 per month but the facility would suggest a more costly membership. When the classes are able to continue after Covid they are also pretty great and the instructors and trainers are great. I’m a marathon runner and I have been working out and training here for about 18 months and I’ve never had a single complaint. If you are a woman looking for a good place to workout check them out. It’s worth it.
I canceled my membership a year ago. Every month I’m having to call my bank and explain this mess. Because pure fitness continues to withdrawal. My hard earned money. We’re in a pandemic! I canceled my membership a year ago. I can’t understand why canceling membership is such a hassle. Please fix this issue.
I’m very impressed so far. The staff are professional and super friendly. The gym is clean and extremely organized. They are taking all the proper procedures for COVID19. I would definitely recommend you giving them a try. I’m excited to continue to workout ️
I love that I can at last exercise. The gals at the opening are doing a great job and I am just glad to be back.
Swimming pool and the sauna always have issues
And after 1 year subscription, I am trying to cancel and you have to cancel online, so after I did fill everything it gave me error message, so I called them to get the customer service number and i was shocked the answer is they dont have one and i have to send cancellation mail to a pObx address that means i can not send it certified mail to prove that i submitted it.
Weired way of customer service.
Years you like a person not a number. Great equipment clean pool and the steam room made me feel like a new person
I love this women only gym. Lots and lots of machines and weights. The whole staff is very helpful and friendly. I have a great personal trainer which is the only thing that gets me to the gym regularly.
I love this gym. It's women only and all different shapes and sizes. No woman should feel uncomfortable here. We are all accepted. The facility is super clean and has wonderful amenities. There is daycare for kids. And TV screens where you cam watch them while you work out. They definitely made this gym for women. Its awesome
The worst place to cancel a membership. They have refused to remove my card from the membership that was set up for my daughter who no longer requires their services at the gym located on Louetta. She moved to Florida and they refuse to cancel the membership under her name but has my card on it. Three different stories. 5 months later.my card is still being charged for services not being used. Dont ever out your card on file with these swindlers!
Nice environment however, they club keeps increasing members but not increasing number of classes, and times available esspecially spin class
I joined August 2017. I was talked into small group sessions for $89 a month. A month later I sprained my wrist and could not do small group. I was told to send a certified letter with a doctor's note which I did. They never acknowledged it. I finally had to stop payment at my bank. I have tried to cancel membership for months but was told it had to be done on line. I tried but did not seem to figure their website out. After numerous calls and letters to them, with no results except that they hung up on me several times, I am resorting to reporting them to the BBB and filing complaints with Texas Secretary of State and th Attorney General. DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THEIR DOOR. It is a frustrating and expensive choice.
Good Luck Canceling your membership. We have attempted to cancel my wife's membership three times to no avail. We were told you have to mail in cancellation and it seems that the post office "loses" their incoming mail on a regular basis. We were told there are no other termination options to make it inconvenient to cancel. We'll see what certified mail and my lawyer can do about recouping our funds. My wife hasn't lived within 50 miles of the gym for a year and they are still taking our money.
The manager lies and acts ghetto. The floor is so dirty in the group classroom it is like walking on the sandy beach. You can't enjoy yoga because the music in the gym is so loud. It was a great place but now they don't seem very selective in their hiring process. Absolutely zero customer service and the schedule changes so much you can't have a routine. The group classes are way over crowded. They seem to forget no members equals no job.
I have been a member for years and I will continue to be a member. Overall I have been pleased with my experience as a member here.
However, today I am only giving 1 star. The online class schedule is incorrect & apparently this has been an ongoing issue that hasn't been resolved for some time now. I was planning on attending an 11: 30 yoga class. (According to their online schedule which posted as taking place at 11: 30 am)
This morning I had called to make sure the class was still being held. I spoke to a front desk person, and was told the yoga class is actually at 11: 45. I assumed I looked at the online class schedule incorrectly.
I showed up at 11: 45. Come to find out, there is no yoga class at 11: 45. The yoga class was actually at 10: 30 which I would have attended had the online class schedule been correct & if I had been told the correct information regarding the class time when I had called to make sure the class was still going on.
To add to the inconvenience, Dawn, the "manager" didn't apologize or show any sign of customer service. I am not impressed by her lack of management skills. It seemed as though she just didn't care that much about the said issue.
This shouldn't be an issue at all. It shouldn't be hard to stay on top of an online class exercise schedule. I have wasted my time and resources. I am not happy, and will be filing a formal complaint to corporate.
BEWARE of the class schedule times!
DON'T GO HERE! My friends car was broken in to at 1pm last week and the gym isn't providing any video footage for her to find the suspect and has terrible customer service.

This gym is what it is. A gym for women who want to work out. For 10 bucks a month you get good equipment, training classes, a pool, a place to watch your kids, a clean locker/bathroom and sauna. To me it's a great place to work out.
Had issues earlier this year but fortunately was able to speak to an executive who cleared up misunderstanding; definitely gave me compensation for inconvenience and worked out a hold on my account according to my request
STAY AWAY!
I should have kniwm something when they were way too pushy at enrollment. Scam artists that are hard up for money. Machines are inoperable at times and the child care hours are pointless. This place is a joke.
