I fear my hair cut by Nate and have yet to be disappointed. A plus is they are open on Sunday.

What an excellent experience. The best haircut and beard trim in my life. Very courteous and professional. I will visit Ben whenever I come to San Antonio.

Stopped in for a haircut and this is a true definition of what a barber shop is. Ben is great and hooked me up with an awesome clean cut. Glad I walked by and saw this place. He makes you feel at home.

Puro Handsome next to the Majestic Theater is a great place to have your hair cut and or beard trimmed. Esteban, is one of the reasons this place is so good. He's an excellent barber and a very kind young man. You need to make the business your go to place for all things hair and you need to select Esteban as the guy to trust with your cut! Kudos to Puro Handsome!

In July I was in San Antonio for a conference, and was in pretty desperate need of a haircut. By chance I looked for Barbers with openings in downtown. Tommie cut my hair and educated me on some new ways to care for and style my hair. Over the last six weeks my hair has grown well and has been healthier! Now I must find someone who can maintain my hair here in DFW since I am only in San Antonio every six months. I will for sure be visiting again in February!

Always have a good time coming here. Esteban found a way to tame my two cowlicks. They offer free beer and other drinks while getting your haircut. Nice to see people walking by on Houston St, as well.

Got a haircut here in the Philippines, they gave me a free massage, which was amazing. Very low cost.

I was on vacation in San Antonio and happened to walk by and see this small barbershop by the name of Puro Handsome. I needed a haircut so I popped in and was greeted by Nate and Esteban, who let me know that they accept walk ins and after one of them was finished with their client I’d be next. I was the next client to sit in Esteban’s chair. Esteban and Nate were very friendly and made me feel super comfortable and welcomed. You can absolutely tell that they have passion for their profession. Esteban helped fix my hair that was cut all different lengths and explained to me what was going on each step of the way. It’s been a WHILE since I’ve gotten out of the chair and have been completely happy with my cut (ps, I’m very picky). It was a bittersweet experience due to the fact I live in Houston and wouldn’t be able to get my biweekly cut at Puro handsome. Better believe the next time I’m in SA that I will be stopping by Puro Handsome to get a haircut. Nate's an artisan. I came in for a beard trim as I was getting really scraggly. I left looking like a chiseled jawed Chad from a cologne ad. Hands-down the best barber shop experience.

Highly recommend! Esteban has been the only barber to give me a cut that knows how to cut curly hair and gives the cleanest fade. He’s a great conversationalist and always super friendly! Love the location as well!

Esteban AKA “Compa Ban” is one of the if not THE best barbers in San Antonio. He’s been cutting my hair for 7 years and counting. Hair cut is on point every time; don’t even have to look in the mirror after. Highly Recommend!
