Quality Inn, Amarillo TX

AVOID THIS PROPERTY. They are scammers using fake images. The front lobby's windows were smashed out even though it's a 24/hr front desk. The windows of the room two doors down from us were smashed out. Roaches appeared instantly in the bathroom. Sketchy individuals were lurking around passed 3am. We're a traveling band and stay in dozens of hotels a year. This one was top 3 worst experiences. We checked out immediately and the clerk seemed indifferent and told us to contact Expedia and that they would contact him. Now Expedia says that the hotel denies all claims since the clerk didn't write any of this down. We have to fight for the refund as a fraudulent claim through our bank now. Save yourself the headache and book further down the interstate.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone the sheets where dirty and the room was poorly cleaned including the bathroom.

Rooms were dirty, water in shower would go from hot to cold and wouldn’t stay a constant temp.

Do not stay here I know that it's a cheep option expeshly because it's right by the BSA hospital and many people my like the fact that it's closer to there loved one's but it is not clean at all! The carpet was sticky the beds were stained and the rooms smelt like cigarettes. We read reviews before hand about doubl chargeing for the room's so we look at are account and they did change us two times they did refund it because we said something. The pictures online I'm not the same the rooms look like the images but much dirtier and run down the breakfast area was not that of the pictures at all and did not have a lot of options. We were worried about something crawling on us wail we were sleeping. The coffee pot in the room was disgusting. I recommend the Atrea hotel it's not too far from the hospital it's very clean it's up to date and it has way better breakfast. Do not stay at the quality inn how to repeat do not stay! The lobby is deceiving in the rooms do not match they are gross

We checked the beds and they had hair all over the bed like they hadn't changed the blankets. I have photos.the coffee pot was dirty.

The floor of our room was sticky. The lamp shades were broken. The ice machine was broken. The security lock on our door was broken. The breakfast was pretty scant. When we woke up we noticed a couple of bugs in the bathroom. I guess you get what you pay for.

HORRIBLE! DISGUSTING! Couldn’t find the light switch only one and it was hot and smelled nasty the bath tub was black absolutely disgusting! Wouldn’t let’s my animals stay in that! Then double charged my husbands card and have not received the refund a day later!

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Our room had cracks going through the walls. The floors were so gross. The whole entire place was disgusting. Will be sending corporate an email. This place should not still be allowed to operate in the conditions it’s in. That crack was a huge concern, not just cosmetically. You can tell there is a foundation issue and it’s causing serious cracks in the building.

It is an old hotel that is running down faster than it is being kept up.
The host was polite.
Our room was acceptable.
Clean, yet bare.
No extra sheet or blanket for the couch.
There were places for three pictures, but one was missing and only had hardware on the wall.
Everything worked until morning when the toilet stopped flushing. The rod for the chain had rusted off.
Windows were very dirty.
Various rooms around us were boarded off, making me wonder if we were in a bad part of town, but as another reviewer pointed out, it is right next to hospitals. It is a clunky old hotel in a seemingly nice part of town.
And.yes, cockroaches are making their home here.

Hallways stink. Refrigerator was not working. Misleading pictures on the website, showing a hot tub that is NOT there anymore. No towels at the pool. There were paint chips floating in the pool. Broken ice machine. They left NO SOAP in room, either hand or body soap, none were on the bathroom. There was no coffee machine in room and coffee in the lobby was not a good one. Breakfast, just high sugary items. Only the coffee was acceptable, for breakfast. Overall, for the price was a “ghetto” place. On the other hand, sheets were very soft, pillows were very nice, bed was comfy.

This place should just take the sign down, not fit even for the homeless.the nerve to charge 100 dollars, when the site charges 47 dollars, but even this too much.

Location is good, and friendly staff. However, the rooms were not as expected. There were black marks on the toilet, and the water would drain very slowly from the sink. The room wasn't properly cleaned, and the beds were not even, resulting in a poor sleeping experience.

I don't expect much from a cheaper hotel, usually though they are clean. This room was disgusting. The bathtub looked like it wasn't even wiped down, there was trash on the bathroom and bedroom floor, and dried up boogers on the wall. Not to mention the large crack running down the wall & the bathroom door definitely should be replaced. Definitely will not be staying here again.

Gross. The bathroom was disgusting I went and bought shower shoes, I was afraid to step in the tub barefoot. The coffee packet was left open and empty on the microwave The bed spread had marks of what I’m not sure. I wouldn’t EVER stay there again. I didn’t even want to stay last night but needed a place to lay our head. The air conditioning SUCKED and throughout the night people kept trying to open our door. Overall just don’t book here it’s disgusting. Oh and not to mention the parking lot has pot holes the size of a small car throughout the entire lot.

The room was dirty, the linens were stained, the walls are thin and you can hear everything in the next room, shower was cold, and the staff didn't care!

The First room had not been cleaned. So she moved us to the next room which had not been cleaned either. So we left.
