Quality Inn Clute Freeport

The ac did not work, but the manager there had us moved over to the holiday inn down the road extremely quickly!

The room itself was clean. Definitely older carpet. The one problem I have and it’s a big one, is the spider infestation. It’s only a matter of time before they take over the rooms. Don’t touch the handrails or you’ll be covered in spiders. Just from the car to the room there were hundreds of them. Don’t stick you feet too far into the stairs either. Watch when you walk in your room door too. I wouldn’t stay here again until they fix the problem.

The room was dirty, not vacuumed and had a stale odour, needs renovation, the furniture is old air-conditioner is old everything is old, microwave, lamps, lights went off in my room and had to leave was charged 45$ despite that, it is individually owned, i would prefer to spend more money and get the comfort i need.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The A/C was set on 72 upon my arrival. This was wonderful stepping from the Gulf Coast heat and humidity into a nice cool environment. The room had plenty of lamps, multiple plugs for my various devices, and there was an actual continental breakfast. After recently traveling and staying in Oklahoma, Kansas and Amarillo, Texas; this was the first to actually offer their advertised breakfast.

Our room smelled like vomit, the a/c wasn't cooling properly on a very HOT summer day. And there were spiders and cockroaches.

NEVER STAY AT A CHOICE HOTEL! Especially this one or the Clarion unless you want to be ripped off on your CC, broken TVs, lied to about times breakfast is served, out of date breakfast sandwiches, BED BUGS, broken refrigerators and ACs, phones that dont work, dangerous stairwells and outlets. And MUCH more.etc.the president and managers of Choice hotels obviously do NOT CARE about their business or guests!

Lets see.the price is reasonable if you sign up on their choicerewards.com site. The morning front desk lady can be & is rude, but the evening desk lady is very nice. I chose the Standard King Smoking Rm & I understand they can't control what people smoke, but when the room smells light is was freshly sprayed by a skunked then something is wrong. I had to get the smell out myself cause they had no air freshener. Also, the bathroom was hideous. I had to soak the tub & floor with ammonia for an hour then scrub it 2x before it was as clean as it was going to get. The carpet was nasty also. Within the 6 days I have been here, housekeeping has been by 1x to exchange towels & they barely vacuumed. And they didn't really want to give me any toilet paper or facial tissue.had to ask 3x. And FINALLY, although their sign out front states they offer a hot breakfast~~they don't. It's coffee, OJ, apple juice, bagel, muffin or a Jimmy Dean biscuit with either sausage or bacon/egg/cheese and cereal. So no, I do not recommend this place unless they make some drastic cleaning & attitude changes.

Don't stay here. The staff gave a man a key to my room at 1 am in the morning and blamed hotels.com because they booked the days separately although I checked in for two days under one Reservation. The staff member told me that I should have used the secondary security lock, even though it was broken. They literally took no responsibility whatsoever for what happened and tried to blame us for their mistake. The manager Elena refused to refund me for the night. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Hood hotel the rooms are fine if you like people hanging out outside smoking cigarettes an begging

My husband was staying down there in the hotel for work during the freeze. The room was very nice, bed was comfortable, and room very clean. The hotel went above and beyond anything we could have imagined during this time. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone that goes down to that area. Thank y'all so much!

Pretty standard place, would rate higher but the smell of methane, and the lack of certain items in the breakfast room (had to use the coffee maker of my own room to make coffee cuz couldn't find what I wanted, they didn't even have loaf of bread to toast.) Not bad overall, but could be better.

My stay at quality inn was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. The front desk employees were extremely helpful and courteous. I've been diagnosed legally blind and they were so helpful and understanding. Thank you DeLaura, Kristie, lindsay, and Kim!
