Had checked in a bit early for my scheduled appointment and was waiting. A lady came in for a standby appointment and they called her in before me. Wasn’t too happy about that. However, I was called in a few minutes later and the phlebotomist, Wendy, was fantastic! I’m a lay down person because I have the tiniest veins known to man and have been known to pass out. There were no tables available so I had to sit for the blood draw. Wendy was fast and I truly barely felt it. A+ for phlebotomist. B for wait time.

I am squeamish when it comes to having blood drawn. Tamiko was an excellent phlebotomist and understanding of my anxiety with needles and blood. I didn't feel a thing! I scheduled my appointment on line the day before and it was so easy. Check in on your phone before entering. There was no one at the front desk, but if you use the check in system, they are aware you are there. In and out in 10 minutes. It really saves time to plan ahead and follow the simple check in instructions. Not sure why the reviews are not good, but I had a great experience and friendly exchange with staff.

Not sure what they do here but drawing blood for lab work doesn’t seem like a top priority. I stopped in before lunch during the week. There were no people waiting and no people receiving any services yet they told me I would have to schedule an appointment for later in the day. The lab requisition stated walk-in appointments were welcome.

The link for the review expired before I was able to provide a review. I came in on 1/9 for a blood draw before therapy the following week. It's a short, simple procedure. Everything went fine until afterwards when the phlebotomist only applied some gauze and tape to the area where he drew my blood. He did not wrap it and should've so that there was more pressure. My arm hurt for over a day and now there is still spotting under my skin below where the blood was taken. In more than 2 years of getting blood drawn at Quest every month, this is the first time that this has happened. I usually get this done at Texas Oncology but they had me go offsite last month due to shortage of staffing. Do your phlebotomists not wrap patients after drawing blood?

The young man that took care of me was excellent! Seriously didn’t feel a thing! I had an appointment and was take back right on time!

Love this location very professional it was pretty busy but still the lady Karla was patient and kind. Also they have a waiting list which lets you know what place you are in line pretty cool

I've got no idea why there's so many bad reviews, I've been coming here monthly for blood work and the place is great! Staff is friendly, I never really have to wait either nor is it always packed.

My friend needs weekly blood work post hospital discharge. This was done initially last Wednesday, 4/21/21, at the Quest Baylor/Gaston Avenue location. She called Casa Linda location yesterday for an appointment. She was told they couldn't see her until May 5th. What? I decided to look at scheduling on line, and indeed the first appointment available is noted to be on May 5th, and only 2 times available at that! Not until May 13th are 10 times available. It appears that 10 appointment times are all that are ever available any day, forever. Really? I hope this is an error. Please confirm.

Arrived 10 minutes early for a pre-scheduled antibody test. Waiting room was packed, and no place outside to wait and be called.

Would be nice to wait in my car and get a call / text when they are ready.

This place is a joke. The advertised wait is totally inaccurate. Wait was easily over an hour for a simple blood test. Social distancing? !? There are 7 chairs in the waiting room each only about 3-4 feet away.very sad.

Dr ordered a simple blood test. Spent an hour waiting. Will never come to quest again for anything this is totally unacceptable! Next time will tell the Dr to order from another lab.

Poor service and long wait times. I waited for 90 minutes to get my tests done. This is the longest I have ever waited for a lab test. On top of that, the management needs to focus on staffing and avoid such bad customer experience. Will never be coming back.

I was a little skeptical after reading all of the poor reviews, but I had a great experience. The facility is clean, the check-in kiosk is easy to navigate, and the wait time for my walk-in was completely reasonable. Jeremy some how made giving him a cup of my pee for a drug test not uncomfortable (thankfully). I was in and out so quick!
Only suggestion is that I wish someone was at the front desk to greet. But overall, would recommend!

The service is really good however they don't pick up the phone. I've been calling since 8: 30 and no pick up nor have they called me back after leaving several voicemails.

Went in on 5/14/2019 for a pre-employment drug screen. I was 34 weeks pregnant. Waited over 30 mins to be called back, after checking in on the kiosk, on the check-in screen it said 10 mins. I was called back, given the instructions on what to do, I did EXACTLY what I was told. I bring out the urine specimen to the tech, to only be told that my urine “wasn’t the right temperature” to then be told that I need to leave another specimen, but I need ANOTHER order form from my employer? ! How inconvenient. I decided that I would NOT return. As a Certified Medical Assistant, I pride myself in quality patient care, and that was not demonstrated at this facility. Fast forward to today 5/23/2019, I go to the Quest on Forest Lane across from Medical City Dallas (which is where I work) I noticed that there was someone at the check in window, who actually was taking the requisitions for those of us that were Walk-Ins. Greeting us, and expediting the process by actually getting things ready before we are called back. I waited all of 7 mins before being called back. The tech at this facility was warm, had a smile, explained everything to me, INSTRUCTED ME TO PICK OUT A SPECIMEN CUP AND INSPECT IT TO MAKE SURE IT HAD NO CRACKS OR DAMAGE, while watching me, then she proceeded to continue the test. Same instructions. I did everything like the first time, and guess what? No issues with my specimen. Quest location in the doctors professional building at this location on Buckner can definitely benefit from being re-trained, because my first and LAST experience at this location was HORRENDOUS. I would hate for my patient to have to endure what I did. We as healthcare professionals should do better. Hopefully someone with authority over this location sees this and makes some changes.

Wonderful facility! The lady who drew my blood was very kind and professional. The facility is very clean and the process was very quick and smooth. I highly recommend this Quest!
