Quest Diagnostics Fossil Creek reviews
21Please know that the hours on their website for drug screening is not accurate as of 7/24/2020. They only do drug screens M-F 8-4, even though you can still make an appointment outside of their hours on their website. They also are understaffed right now and have no one to answer the phone, so I also had no luck trying to make an appointment that way. I showed up and waited, and at my time was told to go home.
Never answers their phone. I called all day in 15 minute intervals and no one picked up to help me. What's the point of even having one? !
I have waited for over an hour and 25 mins with multiple people coming in after me but going back before me. I realize apts have been made for some but those were announced as apts. When I asked about it the nurse was rude and had no valid reason for not seeing me yet, just “we haven’t text you yet”. Umm I think I know that. I want to know why.
I was sent here from an RA doctor to have some blood work done. I was told I could walk in and I understand that there could be a wait. I have never been to a Quest Lab before. I waited about 1 hour. I was taken back with a phlebotomist with gloves on already. I sat down and answered a few questions. I saw her touch her glasses/mask under her face shield and then grab the pen machine in which it had touched the floor. She got everything ready and was about to start, when I stop her and asked her to change her gloves. She stated "they are clean". I dont know that and I didnt see her put them on and she was touching stuff like the keyboard/mouse right before she was going to stick me, but she made me sanitize MY hands before signing the electronic consent. She seemed bothered by me asking to change her gloves. After she changed her gloves she wasnt very friendly. I mean they are grabbing the door handles to call your name from the waiting room with gloves on the same gloves they use and we as patients are touching the same door handles when we leave. Not to mention a dime size welt under my skin that I have now. I have blood work every 3 months done for the past years and have never had this happen. I did not have a great experience and will not be back. I work in the health care field and it is crucial to have clean gloves on and to not be bothered if someone ask for you to change your gloves. They other lady in the next booth seem very friendly and talkative, I wish I had her.
In and out and it was busy. Just left there now. Pat was/is wonderful and lighting fast and painless and said my allergist will have the test results tomorrow. RECOMMEND PAT TO DO YOUR LAB WORK. PAT, SHE IS THE LEADER AND BEST AT LAB TESTING!
I do not recommend taking your toddlers and babies here for blood work. The staff are friendly, but not well trained for taking blood from squirmy little ones. It took longer than necessary and the tech seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. When my son started crying she got stressed and left the needle in his arm while she called another tech over to come help her. It was horrible. A trained nurse at a hospital or elsewhere will be a much better experience for you and your child.
I came in for some blood tests, and I barely sat down after checking in before I was called back. The phlebotomist who drew my blood was quick, professional, and got my vein on the first try, which has literally never happened in my life before. She said it was easy, but that has never been my experience before, so I am impressed!
Friendly staff. Each time I have gone was just 'walk in' with minimal wait. Quick and mostly painless and I hate needles. They show you the prices and what you may be expected to pay, and have always been pretty spot on with the bill I get. A couple of times it was less than what they showed me, not by much. I use their app as well so I can veiw my labs.
Friendly and expeditious! I arrived at 745 and was in and out by 800. Cant ask for more than that.
Make you wait 30 minutes just to tell you they don't offer a service they claim to offer on their website. Waste of time and horrible communication.
Upon arrival, i signed in and thought i was in for a long wait. I was a walkin and others had appointments. BUT, within 5 minutes i was in the lab and thevTech was fantastic! My first time at a Qwest lab and was in and out quickly.
Nurses there can find my veins to take blood. My veins hide, and this place is the best around North Ft Worth / Keller.
Friendly very informative staff. Greeted with a smile. They made it worth getting up early on a Saturday morning to get lab work done.
Poorly understaffed and wait times that are up to 45 mins even if you have a scheduled appt.at 715am. I just walked out and went home
Called to get a quote for blood work. The woman who answered was rude and hardly spoke English. She quotes me over $700 for work that only costs in the $200 hundred range. I know because I've had the exact work done many times. She wasn't interested in double checking what I needed done. I would not recommend this place. Any Lab Now is where I take my business now.
Don't waste your time making an appointment. I scheduled an appointment for 10: 00 am and still had to wait for all the walk-ins before I was seen. This doesn't actually speed up the process whatsoever despite all the advertisements in the facility that seem to indicate that it's the best thing to do.
Rude workers called insisting she left a message at my phone when she obviously had misdialed & left a message at someone's else's number. Bruised arm hurt for 2 weeks with a large welt under the skin. This place USED to be great. Obviously pervious personnel have transferred to a different location. Won't be going here again.
Awesome place been going here for years and the staff are great. Started reading reviews so I read theirs and thought oh gosh has this place went down, since I hadn't been in a while, as I walk in the door. No still the same! Little girl got her blood drawn and not even a flinch she was a rave little girl (which means the staff are very well trained). I will continue to use this Lab. Oh yea and I was in and out in less than 20 min.
This is the location I prefer to go to, and most of the time I go I can get an appointment, so It don't take take no time. Very friendly staff too.
Love this place will not go to a different location have tried others in the past and here i don't even feel the needle the lady here is so experienced, thank you
