RA Sushi, Houston TX

Horrible service! Food took an hour to come out and not only that some of our food didn’t even come out. We order fried rice and it was not warm at all… the bowl was super warm but the rice was not! The drinks came out wrong! Had to ask twice for refilling water. This was our first time and our last time coming here

Worst service I've ever received. The location was empty an it took over an hour to get our food and it still came out incorrectly. This was a complete waste of time an money. Definitely will not be coming back. Never once refilled our drinks or anything.

Very nice atmosphere with bold red and black walls. Intimate lighting, the square enclosed bar seats about 8 on each side. The drinks are well made, and no complaints on the sushi. However, I'm no sushi connoisseur so don't take my word as an educated taster. They also have tabled sitting and a friendly crowd. I enjoyed. The music wasn't overbearing and consisted of dance based EDM. A really laid back environment.

The maki rolls were good, but not nearly good enough to make up for the 50 minute delay between sitting down and getting our food. I think the waiter table assignments were disorganized.

Also, appetizer was even later than the main dish - I wouldn't even have ordered it if I had known that would be the case.

Since RA has expanded their food has gotten really mediocre. Most of the fish is frozen, and the dishes just aren’t good anymore. Highly recommend going elsewhere for your sushi fix.

I have been going to this establishment for 4 months now, and I have never received such service the way I did tonight. Zechariah was our server and as difficult as we were, he still managed to perform perfectly as a server. He made amazing suggestions, whether it was drinks or food. Zechariah was also very vocal about the time on our food and made other suggestions while we waited on our meals. He also took the time to talk to us. Most servers assigned to us would keep it about the food and keep it moving. However, that was not the case with our server. If you are dining in at this establishment, I would highly recommend to request Zechariah.

Sushi was fresh and delicious, fried rice was yummy, ramen wasn't bad just not my favorite. Chicken had an odd taste. Was annoyed that they didn't have one of the promo drinks for St. Jude and I felt it was a little pricey for the quality. However, the server was really sweet and good so I appreciated that.

Great atmosphere if you are looking to enjoy a conversation in a decent place with decent views. Service during my visit on a Wednesday was pretty slow and mediocre.
The food quality was good portion sizes were good, prices were as expected to be a place in a fancy neighborhood. The biggest drawback from my visit was the time that it took anyting to come to the table. Perhaps going to the corner store and coming back to our table would have been faster to get a drink.

Sushi options were subpar. Too many options with creamchese and "krab". Gyozas were oily and poorly seasoned. Soy sauce was so salty it ruined the sushi. Not returning to this place

I might turn into sushi at this point! Ra is the place to go if sushi is what you’re looking for. I’ve been for lunch, dinner, and their reverse happy hour and they’ve all been equally amazing. Everything I’ve tried, I’ve loved. The drinks never disappoint. They place itself is aesthetically pleasing and the staff is so hospitable!

One of the best experiences I've ever had, my server Jordan is one of the best people I've had attend me here. From showing me recommendations to checking up to see if we had a flawless experience, it's been one of the best experiences. I will 100% be back in hope Jordan is here once again!

It wasn't fresh, and my waitress rushed me and my 5yo son. I spent $75 and still tipped him 18% I won't be back. I use to eat Ra in the town center every Sunday for a good two years. The location I was disappointed in, was highland village.

We were there yesterday October 4th for my B-day, our server was Jordan, great guy and very friendly, honest, attentive and on point with the service we got, I was pleasantly surprised of how delicious the food was, got sushi that tasted heavenly, all the food was fantastic, I believe we have a new place to visit for my sushi cravings, great food drinks and absolutely fantastic service, Jordan for president.

The best sushi place to go. Went for a birthday celebration and ended up addicted to sushi. As the local Karen says, “Live, Love, Laugh. ” 100% recommend. Just look at the environment…

Why would you charge anyone $10 per order in addition to the menu price on sushi modifications? ! Just say you can't do it. You guys are ridiculous. Went down the street to AKA sushi got what I wanted and the food was more fresh than RA. Never will I ever come back to any location.

Came for the first time for my birthday and had a great experience. Our waiter Jordan was very attentive and super nice. Definitely need to come again.

Very little attention to detail. Sushi arrived and server did not bring the set-up (soy sauce, Wasabi and ginger). Finally arrived 10 minutes later.

My boy Jordan was very helpful! Very kind and funny! Definitely will be coming back out here. The experience was exquisite I'll definitely be coming back over here! Hopefully I'll be able to get Jordan as our server again! Great guy!
