Gas Station RaceTrac reviews
10Used to stop by every morning at 5am for breakfast and an energy drink. Just recently the store has started to close until 5: 30am. Guess Quik Trip will be getting my business from now on as I start work at 5: 30am.
WAKE UP PLANO! Fresh coffee, Clean facility, Kind employees!
The best Racetrack in America right here folks!: D Their coffee is very smooth and hits you FAST! It's like sticking your finger into a power outlet, followed by jumping on top of a rocket and zooming across your day.
Coffeeeeeeeeee.
It’s a regular morning, pretty busy, and a young lady by the name Keia is working multiple registers knocking down the line fast. Had to give her props on that lol
Just wasted 10 mins of my time going to pumps because they don’t have the yellow bag on it to say it’s not working. Trash trash day
This is your typical RaceTrac. It includes the amenities of most RaceTrac gas stations. There are 24 pumps each of which includes regular unleaded, unleaded plus, premium unleaded, and diesel fuel. Each station also includes window washing with skepticals and garbage cans. As far as safety is concerned there are several very clearly marked emergency shut off switch, and every other has fire extinguishers. They sell bagged ice and offer outdoor seating. There is also a station for compressed air and vehicle vacuum. Unfortunately this is a service that requires payment.this is one of the reasons I only gave RaceTrac four stars. I think it is ridiculous that they charge for compressed air. If I had to choose between RaceTrac and QuikTrip, I would choose QuikTrip simply because they offer free air.
The interior is much like every other RaceTrac. They have their signature walk-in beer cooler as well as their frozen yogurt selection. Sadly, they're frozen yogurt machines seem to all be out of service during this visit.
Pre-packaged snack items are available, as well as a limited selection of made-to-order bakery items. Choice of drinks is abundant, ranging from alcoholic beverages, soft-drinks, coffee, and all manner of flavored waters and energy drinks.
There is an ATM inside along with a lottery vending machine. Bathrooms are available to use by public. There is both a male and female restroom. Though the restrooms were not dirty I was not overly impressed by their cleanliness. RaceTrac usually does a better job with this.
All in all this is a decent location. As you can see in the photos it is conveniently located on the corner of Renner and Shiloh.
And that is all I have to say about that.
RaceTrac is my go to for fuel. There are so many convenient locations in the DFW metroplex that there is always one close. The pay at the pump option makes it easy to get in and out in no time at all. The gas prices are competitive, I've always found the windshield cleaning stations full and ready to go. The stores are stocked with snacks, drinks, and all the little necessities required for a road trip or day to day driving. In my experience the cashiers and staff have always been polite and friendly. The pump areas are well lit so filling up at night feels safe.
Excellent service, super friendly staff, and spotlessly clean facilities and bathrooms. Well stocked, plenty of parking and pumps. Great location.
Used to stop here for coffee, had to stop because they stopped cleaning out the coffee pots which made the coffee taste like the bottom of an ashtray. I found out they changed to these automatic machines, so I stopped in and got a coffee one day to try it out.
Nothing has changed. Coffee still tastes like licking the bottom of an ashtray. Apparently they can't be bothered to keep these machines clean either.
They also never have any stock of breakfast stuff in the hot box they have there. With all they sell, you'd think they would keep that thing filled to capacity.
I just stopped going there period. It's just not worth the wasted time.
This seems like a new store. But sorry nice and clean. The coffee station has many options and it grinds the coffee in front of you. There are many other drink options and a nice variety of snacks and food. It also had an frozen yogurt station with toppings. It smelled good inside and pleasant to walk around.
Great staff make this a great place to get gas or a quick bite to eat. I love Sodapalooza every summer!
