Terrible patient experience. The staff was friendly but the ''doctor'' was very condescending. Don't recommend it.

Really great experience with Dr Moncayo. He is friendly, professional and takes his to understand his patient’s needs.

Doctor Moncayo was very unprofessional. We have been seeing Dr. Chuan Li- Fann for 2 yrs since we move to TX and he is awesome, and apparently, on the way to the visit, the secretary I spoke with last week on the phone for an appointment accidentally booked Dr. Moncaya and not Dr. Chuan, and we just knew this when we were at the clinic.

So during the office visit, we are requesting if some labs can be ordered for our father, and we will pay if it is not covered by insurance.

He rudely debated with a tone of voice inappropriate for a doctor, saying, " It is not appropriate" we asked the reason and he keeps on repeating" It is not appropriate". He walked out of the room and said nothing. He doesn't even know what BNP is.he could have said it in a more therapeutic way, but his attitude is not making Memorial Hermann stand out. We have been seeing Dr. Chuan and Leslie NP and both of these providers have excellent bedside manners.remember, it is how you treat patients that matters and not your egoistic attitude. So we ended up not contiuing the visit and just waited for the availability of Dr. Chuan.

It always takes days to get a response from the clinical staff. You always have to leave a voicemail and it is never returned within their promised 24 hours.

Even though I arrived a bit late of the expected time I was treated with a speedy and thorough examination as well with respect and kindness! Dr. Moncayo is the best!

I have been a patient of Dr. Moncayo's for 5 years now. Dr. Dr. Moncayo is very professional and his remedies and explanations very practical. I appreciate his open candid approach with patients.

My husband was 20 mins early to his appointment. They wouldn’t let him sign in or fill out paperwork. They actually didn’t give him the paperwork they told him to leave. Which is crazy it takes Max 5 mins to fill out paperwork. The DR was so unprofessional if you don’t have patience why be doctor. Very unprofessional.

My wife and I are new customers/patients of Dr. Moncayo and we are seriously considering not returning because of the very poor customer service exhibited by their front desk person named Yuridia, who I had asked to see if she could arrange for me to get a Shingrex shot, which my wife had just received and I wasn't asked to get last week when I was there to see the doctor, so I filled out a green form, then she proceeded to tell me that they were going to lunch and that they could not do it then and had to call a number on a card that she handed me to make an appointment via telephone. When I proceeded to call the number, it happened to be their number there, but they would not answer. When I told them that nobody was picking up the phone, she said that they were busy and that they were getting ready to go to lunch. I asked her to please add me herself, since I was already there even if it was for another day, but she didn't want to and said that it was protocol. If she knew of customer service, she would have set my appointment then. I should have requested to speak with a Supervisor or Manager there or even the Doctor, but I didn't. If this place is going to succeed in keeping their customers, they will need to get rid of this person or get her some training immediately.

I have been Dr. Moncayo's patient for TEN YEARS. And I have never in my life had the problems I have had in the last three weeks. I have been trying to get a Glucose monitor covered by insurance and Dr. Moncayo and his Medical Assistant have been ABSOLUTELY no help. I have spent more time on the phone with my insurance company finding out which monitors are covered and how. WHEN THEY SEND HIM A NOTIFICATION OF HOW THEY'RE COVERED. I had forms sent to the facility THREE TIMES before they were done correctly. I can't even get Dr. Moncayo to respond on my Everyday well messenger. I am EXTREMELY Frustrated and disappointed that a physician I have seen for over a decade won't help me because he feels me monitoring my sugar levels isn't necessary.

Took my mil here for a checkup. Working in healthcare myself, I was very impressed on how they are checking in patients with all precautions. I felt safe sitting in their reception area. The doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable and took care of the issue we had. Highly recommend!

Doctor Moncayo is an excellent Doctor who listens and cares about his patients. He has been our family primary doctor for a few years and in every single visit he has always been attentive to our concerns.
Definitely recommend!

Doctor Moncayo is awesome along with his team! Love the friendly welcome when I I arrive and hospitality throughout my appointment. We have been loyal to this office over the years because they take the time to listen to our needs and we can get in when needed. Thank you for being in our community!

There is no way to directly contact the office and when transferred from the main system it is always straight to voice mail. When instructed to fax something to them (only way to accept forms.ummm email is more secure the fax hello 2020). They let the forms sit there for nearly 2 weeks before responding only when I had to keep recontacting them. Since they did not understand the form (simple form as well basically saying they are in good health since their last physical) being requested by school district in a different state that we relocated to, the Dr’s just make up their own rule and refuse to fill them out since they were not seen in the current year but within a 12 month calendar year.ummm annual physical are just that for a reason (12 month period). Health concerns are not fully examined by the doctors either, I’m sure their script logs should be looked at as well.

We love Dr. Moncayo. He really takes the time to listen and treats the whole person not just the symptoms. His staff is pleasant and empathetic. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is because it can be difficult to get a call back sometimes, not always just sometimes.

Dr Moncayo is a food doctor but front office and all other members do not take patients seriously, never answer the phone or voice messages and always will try to charge you extra fees or double appointments

Dr Moncayo is very knowledgeable and speaks multiple languages. He dedicates enough tome to listen to patients. Has been my doctor for five years
