I got my cdl through this company in 2019. I only drove 3 months for them. The curriculum they had was well thought out. Half day is classroom and half day is driving. It took me exactly 4 weeks to pass the road test. The downside is the pay. Back then they paid. 38/mile. That’s how they’re able to afford giving you 1000$. I’m grateful for them taking me in but I had to find something local because otr was terrible. Now 4 years later i’m making 6 figures and home everyday.

Was just ran off the rose by one of these drivers. They forced their way into our lane in heavy traffic with nowhere for us to go. When he saw me trying to get his information he slowed down to 10-20 mph on the HIGHWAY. We had to stop to get pictures. If this is what they teach at their driving school, I wouldn’t recommend going here

This place Don't let you know about anything in the back Of your trailer until you get out there and pull from the dock and they leave it trashy

Best decision I have made for my future. Looked into trucking for a few years and Raider Express welcomed me with open arms. The school is amazing, the instructors are very knowledgeable! They help you understand everything within the trucking industry not just the driving part. Safety is Priority here!
I've been a solo driver for a few months but I feel like I've been driving for years because they fully equip you before sending you out on your own.

Best decision I ever made! To any and all of you who wants to become a truck driver Raider Express is the best! I enjoyed everything from training to becoming a Solo Truck Driver! People have asked me was I scared of this truck. Not at all! I stand 5’2 and when I’m in my truck I’m sitting on top of the world! LOL

As a new CDL Driver, I can truly say this is an amazing company. The school is free and they will hire you after you complete there program. Great people to work with. Great Trainers. I just completed my first 30 days as Solo Driver.

I worked for this company and they was good people, but the OTR wasn't for me.

Reason for the 2 star? I called and to see if I could get a copy of my sleep study. The "gentleman" I spoke to in safely was rude to me on the phone. Like what if I wanted to come by or have friends looking for a company?

Yeah, no good man. Way to treat people with disrespect.

I sent in a application, I got a call and emails from Latasha a few days later. I couldn't answer the call, but I returned the call as soon as I could. The emails were interview questions and company introduction, which I answered. A few days later, I got another follow-up interview question, which I answered. I thought it was going good then I got denied. When asked for what specific reason, I didn't get an answer. Also I could never get in contact with Latasha, I called multiple times left voicemail with name and number. Never got to talk to her.

Hi, I'm Spanish. I'll tell you about my experience with this bad company (DO NOT GO, DO NOT GO, DO NOT GO) I applied, they asked me for papers that you can't imagine, I sent them all right, they did the drug, urine, and hair tests, I passed them the interview on The first day I passed they gave me classes the first week and the pass they gave me the cdl permit at the DMV because I passed the exam
and the second week I spent with the instructor and spent it
The third week another instructor gave me driving lessons and I passed them.
I signed a paper that was the pass to be the exam at the DMV in the fourth week I already had everything but on the last day of the 3rd week that is, on Friday they called me at the office to tell me that I could no longer continue with the company because I did not I know English 100% and that prevents the company from hiring me.
Why didn't they tell me the first day
I wasted time, money, effort, many hours of study at night, everything to get the CDL license, they do not value your effort, they discriminate against you if you are of another race, and more so against African-Americans, I saw how they are yelled at, humiliated, and there preference with whites
Because they are white, so I recommend that you don't go to this school, don't waste your precious time there, more serious companies, not like this one, which are useless, and even less so if you're from far away, be careful because those who recruit you speak nicely so that fall, I think they are commissioned but I do not recommend it at all based on my experience.
Zero for this company.and if you go I wish you good luck.

First I want to say about this school. They are unjust in their practices. And they lie on new drivers who are trying to get themselves started in trucking.
I highly recommended my daughter to go there and get her CDL and after her one week there she was able to get her permit and medical card but when she came back after the first week of school was told that she had failed her drug test! Wasn't given any paperwork proof of this test and when she got tested didn't see the person put her hair in the sample container nor sign for it, Then told her that we don't report it to clearinghouse but still kick her out the school. So anyway on that Momday when I drove from Houston to ft. Worth to picked her up I took her to get a independent text to make sure she wasn't lying to me and wouldn't you know the test which was a hair test came back negative! So why was this done to her? So I Don't recommend anyone else to this school!

I would not recommend attending this school, especially for women. I wish I had read these reviews before signing up. I decided to stop attending due to the unprofessionalism of the trainers. The trainers don't have enough patience to be training students and just like one of the prior reviews they have an attitude with the students acting as if you've come in knowing how to drive an eighteen wheeler truck. I was shocked that we were instructed to operate the truck by ourselves (without the instructor being in the passenger seat/truck). If you're a female be prepared to hear conversation that would not normally be spoken in women's presence. I can honestly say that the entire staff isn't like this (very nice), my experience was when I went into the second week of learning to drive. My biggest concern is knowing that they were aware of this issue but allow it to continue. I would not want anyone to work or train in this type of environment. Best of luck to whomever chooses to go with this company. It seems that leading by example does not to much exist anymore.

Bossy & unexcited recruiters, uninformative, outdated trucks, low pay, poor reputation based on several reviews.

Great company, great people, great school, great pay and benefits! I highly recommend them, it was the best decision I have ever made. The school is actually free there is no contract to sign at all and you don't pay it back in any way except agreeing to stay with them. Yes we are pretty slow but honestly our safety rating is fantastic and I get home safely to my family. They continuously work with me on my home time they don't force you to take certain days off like some other companies. Even our maintenance department is awesome, always quick to fix if something goes wrong on the trucks if its a repair thats gonna take an extended amount of time they will swap you into a different truck. I said it once and I'll say it again this is a great company to drive for!

This company should get sued for having literal hazards on one lane roads. Yall got trucks stuck doing 60mph on 70mph roads and when the road permits passing your drivers dont show any acknowledgement by hitting the breaks and allowing a safe pass, they rather let you get into a head in collision or run you off the road. Don't work here there's a good chance you'll cause an accident and you'll be hated by the rest of the trucking community.

BEST MOVE I'VE MADE! Switching career paths from accounting to trucking was a scary thought, however, Raider has made the transition super easy. Everyone I encountered was friendly and genuinely wanted everyone to succeed. They did everything to ensure my success while placing safety at the forefront. Which was a TOP priority for me. I would recommend anyone looking into jumping into the trucking industry to go with Raider!

Very weird company they first called and asked when’s the earliest I could start. Couple days go by so I call back to check on it. I was told they’ll look at my application then send a email later in the day. I got declined so I decided to ask why they said they didn’t have a reason just that.
