Rainbow Gardens reviews
14 Me and my wife, drive an hour to rainbow gardens on Bandera Road Because of the quality of plants they have.
But what I want to say is my wife is stricken to a wheelchair. She told me that rainbow gardens on Bandera Road has the cleanest and the best handicap bathroom she’s ever been in.
Thank you so much rainbow gardens.
Crowded! But great! Usually is, but that's a good thing! It shoes everyone likes it! Right?
I'm in from out of town and I wanted to check out some of the local plant stores. This place had an excellent selection as well as a lot of rare plants. My only complaint is they write the prices on the air plants and so it kind of sucks because they'll have a price on that leaf forever
Best nursery. They have all sorts of plants and shrubs. Shopped for 1 hour and didn't get to go all around the garden. The staff attending to the plants are very helpful and you can tell they like their jobs and put alot of care into maintaining the plants. I felt like I was in a school field trip at a botanical center. Will be returning soon!
I always enjoy the visits to Rainbow Gardens with my daughter weekly to see what plants to purchase, and especially look forward to the peach season. Truly, a great gardening experience.
Pretty big garden with good selection of plants, herbs, decor, bird feeder. I got Cuban Oregon which I couldn’t find any where near my place, and also a flowering plant, they were selling ladybugs, praying mantis, some more garden friendly insects too, not sure about the pricing whether I paid higher or nominal. Prices were according to size of the pot.
I love this place. It has a large selection, informative cards for each plant and friendly staff.
Question. Do they carry pathos plants? I got some from my mom in law she trimmed back in March and she had her in a glass tube to grow roots. I traveled with them and did the same when I got here but now the roots are rotting. Not sure if the difference in WA state to TX but I need new ones.
Friendly staff the place is so well organized and the prices are fair.also they have a pretty good variety.overall a happy experience
Very impressive collection of plants, pots and pretty much everything for your garden. The employees were knowledgeable and helpful. We'll be back!
I like to walk around and enjoy shopping here. Good gardening place and has many choices of plants to buy.
Want to come here? Ask for Mia.
She cares. And knows horticulture.
Best employee Rainbow Gardens has. Bar none.
Edit: 3/20/23.
Make sure you get there 30 mins before posted closing time. I drove 60 miles and gates were locked @ 4: 45 when closing time is 5: 00. Had to go to Lowes to save my Japanese Maples from fungus.
Lovely garden center, dog friendly, large selection, crowded on weekends during spring - it’s best to go early when they first open.
The customer service is horrible I had a question about a plant and asked an associate and she just ignored me and walked away and then when i went to pay the same associate was talking to the cashier about a guy that she was dating instead of letting the cashier do her job, but the cashier was no better didn't tell me a total and the only time she talked to me was when she needed me to sign something. This is the first and last time i will ever go to this nursery.
