7My wife, Maureen, had an appointment today to see Dr Arakal's PA, Liwen Zang. We were greeted by the MA, Yolitha, who was very professional, friendly, and helpful. Our session with PA, Zang was the best we've ever had. She was more like a doctor than a PA. She was so knowledgeable, thorough and professional that we were 100% satisfied with her diagnosis and plan for moving forward. Best PA and MA experience ever!

Dr. Arakal is one of the best doctors around. He cares about his patients. He listens to your concerns, he answers your questions, and doesn't make you feel dumb when you ask a question. Dr. Arakal is a very knowledgeable and skilled surgeon. I have spinal stenosis and have been in pain for years. After reviewing my MRI he suggested trying injections. The injections were a major relief. I had 3 injections over the last 3-1/2 years. Once the injections started to wear off, 2 years later, he suggested surgery was my best option. I had 2 disc replaced C5-C6 and C6-C7. Waking up with instant results with no pain. Dr. Arakal is the nicest doctor I’ve been too. He is very thorough with his explanation of treatment. I would strongly suggest this surgeon to anyone.

In Feb 2023, I (Polly McDaniel) had a gymnastics accident and suffered a neck injury. I experienced extreme nerve pain throughout my entire body when Dr. Arakal discovered I broke my neck (severe subluxation of C5, C6, T1). Thank God for him for performing my life-saving surgery!
Although the pain was off the charts horrendous, the only time I cried was due to the overwhelming compassion Dr. Arakal conveyed. Not only did he answer the “on-call” emergency at midnight, he ensured my husband was contacted which showed immense care.
Immediately after surgery, nerve pain completey ceased. 8 hours after surgery, I was walking—without a walker! My fine-motor skills were working well and I was discharged from ICU to go home on Day 4! I only took pain meds for 5 or 6 days and completely stopped. I have zero pain—no throat or neck pain.
How do I thank Dr. Arakal for this gift of a pain-free life? THERE. ARE. NO. WORDS. Sometimes our tears express our deepest gratitude. So in this case, tears it shall be. I will forever be honored knowing he was my surgeon.
