It's my first time trying ramen and I must say that I loved it, at first I didn't know which one to order so I asked a friend to help me recommend which one, they have a great variety. The service and attention were very good and the place inside was very nice. In the parking lot I did struggle a little since it is very small, the prices are very affordable, I recommend it.

Update 2023: My favorite Tsukemen is not the same anymore. It’s still good but, I loved the previous version where it was a bit sweet and nutty flavor. Previous version came with a piece of chashu while the new one have chopped chashu in the dipping broth. I also feel like the serving got smaller even when I ordered extra noodles.

Update 2022: They have been always out of the Tsukemen everytime I go there… it makes me sad…

2020: The only ramen place that has the best tasting Tsukemen! I always get extra noodle and chashu cause the dipping sauce is bomb!

I ordered the Mi-so-hot Ramen bowl and it came pretty quick. However, the flavor was not so great and the pork was ground pork. Yuck. I didnt realize it was ground. Its a cool place, but the food is not worth coming back to.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ramen Tatsu-ya in Houston, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the chill vibe and aesthetic that the place exudes. The ambiance sets the perfect tone for a relaxing and satisfying meal.

The culinary journey began with the karaage, which was a crispy and flavorful delight. The perfect appetizer to whet the appetite for what was to come. Moving on to the main event, the SHO-YU (Tonkotsu) ramen was a symphony of flavors. The rich and savory broth paired harmoniously with the tender noodles and expertly prepared toppings. It's evident that a great deal of care and skill goes into crafting each bowl.

One of the highlights of the evening was the Hibiscus tea sake drink. This unique concoction added a refreshing and unexpected twist to the meal. The balance of flavors was spot-on, making it a delightful companion to the ramen.

All in all, Ramen Tatsu-ya left an indelible impression on me. The combination of the relaxed atmosphere, delectable dishes, and standout drinks made for an exceptional dining experience. If you're a ramen enthusiast or simply someone in search of a memorable meal, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Ramen Tatsu-ya. Your taste buds will thank you!

Five stars, without a doubt.

I love this place! My go-to ramen place since college.fast and friendly service.food is always delicious.i like how they sell asian snacks too, pocky and hichew!

there are other ramen places but i like this one because not only it feels cozy with the ramen aesthetics but it feels like you have your space, even when it's crowded. It's prob the layout and how spacious the place is.it has that warm vibe where you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in.the staff/cashier comes around to make sure everything is good and once again it feels like a friend is checking on you, you just need to go inside and dine in to understand what i am talking about!

i've dined in here many many times so i dont rly think about taking photos anymore but i go with the miso hot and gyoza most of the time!

private lot, but sometimes in the weekends when it's packed, you might have to street park!

Appetizers ordered: edamame, gyoza, and karaage. Ordered the Mi-so-not, Tsukemen, and Sho-Yu. Everything was absolutely flavorful and delicious. The Tsukemen was perfection. Coming back soon!

So we went to Ramen Tatsu-ya for lunch last Thursday and it was absolutely wonderful. For appetizers, we ordered the fried pork goyza and their Karaage chicken. Both plates were magnificent, the Karaage was well seasoned and crispy, and the dipping sauce complemeted the chickens flavors to perfection. The goyza was uber fresh and perfectly cooked. As main dsihes, we ordered the Tsukemen and Sho-yu tonkotsu ramens, and they were both sublime. Both noodles were super fresh and cooked on the right side of perfect. The Tsukemen's broth was thick and luscious with deep, complicated flavors that teased the palates' perceptions. While the Sho-yu's broth was creamy, silky, and bold while encompassing all the plates ingredients in every mouth full. To drink, we had their iced Macha, which was fantasic and was just what we needed to round up the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. At an awesome venue, I highly recommend this restaurant to any ramen aficionado. P. S.their staff is the bomb!

Delicous ramen, premium prices. No takeout boxes should knock it back 2 stars but its the vision of the restaraunt I guess, stupid honestly considering how much I pay for one bowl but I digress.noodle refill portions are abysmally small. Food overall is very good. Often bpacked to the brim, go on a weekday when its less busy. It has some competition for the best ramen in houston but it definitly hits the list for one of the better places in houston.

Ramen tatsu-ya consistently delivers through with the good tastes and satisfying food. The only issue I have is the price point being a bit high. Also the conditions of the restaurant were less than ideal on my last visit. It seems the AC must have been out because it was just as hot in the restaurant as it was outside. I felt very bad for the workers, especially the cooks. If they can bring down the price, this place would be 5 stars for me. Also a weird concept is they have you pay and tip prior to being seated and served, which I believe can promote bad service or no service at all. I'm not tipping the restaurant, I want to tip my server appropriately for their service.

First time trying this place and it was probably the best meal I’ve had in a while. I got the mi-so-hot with a fire in the bowl bomb. It was so spicy with the habanero it was also reasonably priced for the portion size! I’m already looking forward to going back once the weather cools down.
