Doctor Stone was hands down the most personable surgeon I have ever encountered. I am the youngest of four devoted children that faithfully love our 83 yr old mother.
Mom needed Umbilical hernia repair, and the sum of all our worry and concern with mom undergoing any kind of surgical procedure was incredibly high - but so much of that dissipated within an hour of surgery due to our pre-op moments spent with Dr. Stone as he stood at mom's bedside and comforted us with his sturdy competence and clear and uncounterfeit altruism he displayed for my mom and my family in those anxious moments.
That is the kind of assurance you want with the doctor. That's the kind of faith you need to have in the hands with which will soon be placed on and within your precious loved one.
As we gave our kisses to mom right before surgery, the peace given to us by the skill and compassion of Dr Stone, made us sure we were kissing " see you soon, mom! "
and not "good-bye".
There's no question and should be no other consideration. Dr. Ramsey Stone is your man.

Let me be very clear. If it wasn't for Dr. Ramsey Stone I wouldn't be here writing this review. No matter the surgery big or small. Surgery is surgery and Dr. Stone saved my life. His team and medical staff are absolutely out of this world, a blessing they are. I can not stress that enough. Dr. Stone and his staff are extremely and highly skilled while being beyond phenomenal. I am a young single parent and self pay at that with no insurance. This was my first surgery. So, if you could only imagine my thoughts and what I was going through. Iguinial Hernia repair was my procedure. The quality of life before my surgery was unbearable with the pain and lack of motivation. Just moving a certain way was extremely painful and irritating to say the least. I am a fit younger adult and this absolutely came out of left field. Dr. Stone never kept me in the dark. Transparency throughout the entire process leading up to surgery and still going above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of no matter what. I feel sorry for this "Lily" reviewer and "Mason". First off "Mason" sounds like you need to lay off the pain pills because it is clouding your judgment. They give you just enough to help throughout your recovery, not to load you up more after you run out. Probably not following directions on how to take them. And secondly "Lily" you just need to listen more most likely. Yalls claim are junk. "Mason" and "Lily" yall had a procedure several, several years ago and just in a year leaving such a negative review on such a remarkable Dr.and his staff. I don't think so. Remember all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men and women to do nothing. Don't let the door hit you where the sun doesn't shine "Lily" and "Mason". Sounds like someone didn't listen to what was being discussed with them. It happens we are human. "Lily" even I thought laparoscopic was the robot procedure but I wanted Dr. Stone to personally be the one to operate on me. I trust him and his staff with my life and that's what I did. A God Fearing man and medical staff who never turned me away or away from praying with me the many appointments we had together before my surgery in their offices. Praying over me right before surgery was a tearful and joyful and breath taking moment. Putting everything into perspective. There is always power in the word of prayer. This man and his staff I would fight for any day. Words couldn't come close to describing the magnificence of such a Dr.and his medical staff. I truly and absolutely without a shadow of doubt trust them and highly recommend them to anyone who needs a phenomenally remarkable Dr.and medical team just waiting to pour their hearts into their work to save anyone no matter what it might be that comes their way. God willing.

Dr. Stone was referred to me by a nurse friend who had also used him for a successful surgical procedure. I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. He listened to my concerns and put me at ease. Prior to surgery he visited us in the waiting room and took the time to ask if I had any concerns. He definitely put me at ease about my surgery and took the time to pray with me before I went in, and I went in calm and at peace. I had a successful surgery and recovery. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Stone is one of the kindest, compassionate, and most skillful people I have ever met. My mom underwent a robotic hernia repair surgery 7 years ago and my uncle underwent a robotic hernia repair surgery 2-3 years ago, both performed by Dr. Stone. Within 3 months, they both fully recovered and have had perfect outcomes since - no recurrence of hernia or any pain. Dr. Stone's bedside manner was excellent. He stayed in touch during the process, addressed our questions and concerns and explained in a way that was easy to understand.

I've also seen Dr. Stone perform surgery in person. I had the opportunity to physically sit in the operating room and directly observe Dr. Stone perform a gallbladder removal surgery and a robotic hernia repair surgery on two patients. He was incredibly gentle with the tissues and precise with the surgical instruments. Both operations were successful, and the two patients were discharged later that day.

With respect to operative skill, Dr. Stone is one of the highest-ranking surgeons. He's always keeping up with new techniques and technology in surgery. But I think what makes him great is his compassionate nature and sound judgment. He tailored the treatment plan to my mom's specific needs, and she felt that he truly cared for her well-being. Thank you, Dr. Stone. And dear reader, just know that you'll be in good hands.

Great experience, not fun but Dr stone explained the procedure, what to expect before and after and did an excellent job.

I was referred to Dr. Stone to perform a robotic hernia repair. There was little to no after surgery pain only constipation. The surgery was on Monday and I was working on calls on Wednesday. Dr. Stone and his staff exceed all expectations, him and his staff have great communication. There is not a better general surgeon than Dr. Ramsey Stone.

So I had my surgery with Dr Stone and his team today. I do not have health insurance so I paid with cash. It was probably the best money I’ve spent in recent history. Dr Stone‘s staff were beyond beyond my expectations and Dr Stone himself is a decent, dedicated and medically proficient human being. I am so glad that I made a decision to go with this team. Thank you so much guys, I will gladly recommend Dr Stone, his office staff and the lovely people at the Texas Health Surgery Center to anyone who needs a surgery done

I was referred to Dr. Stone by my general MD for a hernia. After initial consultation, Dr. Stone scheduled robotic surgery to be preformed due to to possible issues from previous abdominal surgery. I admit I was a little apprehensive, but it couldn't have gone better! There was little to no after surgery pain and the only issues were the expected air pain and constipation. All of which cleared up quickly and I resumed normal activities within a week. In fact, there were so few of issues, I had to keep reminding myself that I had just had surgery and to not overdue it.
I can say that if I ever have the need for Dr. Stone's services again in the future, I would not hesitate and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

After much research Dr. Stone was highly recommended as an expert Surgeon to perform a robotic hernia repair. After two months of moderate to severe pain, bloating, and digestive issues, doctor visits including a colonscopy without a diagnosis a CT scan revealed a Ventral or Incisional hernia. The diagnosis was made more complicated in that the hernia location was in the Flank near rib cage. Dr. Stone contacted me on a Saturday, which is unheard of in this day and time to thoroughly explain where the hernia was positioned and offer a recommendation to tag team the procedure with another skilled surgeon in the event the procedure required General (non-robotic) Surgery. Dr. Stone and his staff were great and he made me feel completely at ease. In the end Dr. Stone performed the procedure robotically Outpatient with nearly no visible scarring and a recovery time of 2-3 weeks. I felt well enough to return to work one week following the procedure. If that wasn't enough I've had many surgeries over the years from major to routine and Dr. Stone is the first doctor to ever pray with me and my family prior to the procedure. He is a 5-star Surgeon but even more a 5-star person.

I chose Dr. Ramsey primarily based on his online reviews. After my surgery performed by Dr. Ramsey I realized I made the right decision. His bedside manner and preparation was excellent. He was able to clearly explain to me the how and why of his approach. But the most important reason for my rating is that just before going into surgery he asked if he could pray with me. Of course I said yes. God bless Dr. Ramsey.

Dr. Stone was referred by Dr. Adam Miner for a diagnosis regarding hernia issues. Getting an appointment was quick and professional by Dr Stone’s staff plus they scheduled me within 2 weeks. Diagnosis was 2 hernias in my stomach and bellybutton that hadn’t given me pain.
Arthroscopic surgery was scheduled for December 27,2021 at Methodist Hospital on Renner Rd in Richardson. The entire process was handled with the utmost care, respect and professionalism. I cannot say enough about the people at Methodist that cared for me pre and post op, very nice job. I returned home later that day with complete information for my recovery. 2 weeks later healing is going well and I feel fine. The hernia surgery was successful.

I definitely recommend Dr Stone and his staff for the care I was given during my diagnosis and surgery.

Dr. Stone was referred to me by a pharma rep. He was very engaging, calming, personable and thorough. After my hernia surgery I had very little to no discomfort. I’ve only had a few surgeries and he by far exceeded my expectations.

I’m really disappointed I’m having to write this review. Dr. Stone repaired an inguinal hernia for me about three years ago. I was very apprehensive about getting a mesh repair due to all the negative press about it. He talked me through all that and explained to me he’d be performing robotic surgery to repair the hernia. I asked very specific questions as to the procedure as I thought it was awesome to be having that procedure performed on me. We scheduled the surgery. Day of the surgery comes and my wife and dad were with me for the procedure. We sat with Dr. Stone just prior to beginning and he sat right there and told us all about this procedure (robotic) and how he does it by using controls and all. Long story short, surgery went well and I’ve had no complications from it whatsoever. Fast forward three years and I’ve now suffered another inguinal hernia opposite the initial one. Naturally I called his office to get set up to be seen and asked Blanca to look up my chart so she could see what procedure I had done and that I was under the impression it was robotic (paid for robotic 100% cash). Well here’s where I’ve become so upset now. She says no sir he performed laparoscopic surgery on you (which I’m sure would’ve been cheaper) This man sat and prayed with us prior to me going into Anastasia and bold faced lied to us prior about the surgery being performed. I’m still in disbelief this man would knowingly deceive me and my family. End of the day yes it’s repaired and have had no issues but the simple fact the procedure I paid for was not done is very disconcerting. I will be taking my business elsewhere and taking back all the recommendations I’ve given to people over the years. Shame on you Dr. Stone.

12/7/21

And now you continue to perpetuate the lie to cover your backside. I’m not saying I overpaid. I’m saying you told me twice I was getting the robotically assisted procedure which isn’t the issue. If you’d simply told me I was getting the laparoscopic procedure done, no problem as I had trust in you. And your argument that robotically assisted is $25k+ is utter BS as I’m scheduled to have that exact procedure done elsewhere for $8000. I never received your notes post op. Yes, maybe I’m guilty of not reading what I signed but my issue is what you told me, my wife, and dad was simply a lie.

Dr. Stone was very kind and professional and did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible for my inguinal hernia surgery. Its been 4 months since the surgery and its almost like I never had a hernia to begin with.
He was clear about what steps would be taken during the surgery and the risks associated. The entire process was very easy and recovery has been quick with minor scarring allowing me to get back to work after a couple weeks of recovery. I really appreciate Dr. Stone and his team at the Texas Health Surgery Center for their work.
Thank You!
