Ray Ray Tex-Mex Taco House, San Antonio TX

The area this restaurant is in is a little bit sketchy, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. My waitress was very nice and the service was quick. My food came out hot and was delicious. It wasn’t the biggest portions, but I left full. There’s a nice view of a los otros painting on the building across from it. I also noticed that they label and manage the condiments, which I appreciate.

Was a bit hesitant to pop in due to the previous reputation. But new owners really have turned this place into a hidden gem. Tacos are on point. Home made tortillas and they make every taco to order. Which is a big deal in the taco world.

This place is always clean and their puffy tacos will put a smile on your face along with Ms. Tina who assisted us, but what is a restaurant you got to give props to the chelf! Fresh homemade tortillas corn or flour the best!

Food was amazing! I ordered the deluxe Mexican plate and nachos, which was more than enough for my son and I! The food was packed perfectly with salsa and jalapenos.
We ordered our plates through doordash. Our driver, Nina, was awesome. We will for sure be ordering food from Ray Rays again!

So close to home and didn't know it was there. The food was and service were excellent. I will be going back.
