Raymond Paxton, MD, West Lake Hills TX

Doctor Paxton is very thorough and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to what I had to say and record everything, so I won't have to remind him who I am and what my problems are if I have to return.

I have been a patient of ADC doctors and health care providers since their original location near Seton Medical Center over 35 years ago. Many have become friends through the years. Although the Westlake location is most convenient, I would not hesitate to rely on any of their locations or providers.

Recently visited for my annual exam. Dr. Paxton has been my internist since I moved to ADC and boy did I get lucky. I chose him based on reviews of doctors at the Westlake location. He has all the qualities you look for in your doctor. He's a very good listener & communicates to your level of understanding. Very knowledgeable when it comes to his field and to his company, ie who to refer to, what the procedures are, different doctors, departments and locations. That really helps.
ADC has been thru a merger and implemented a new software system over the last few years. It was a bumpy road for awhile, I'll be blunt, but they seem to have come out on the other side now and things are running well. Dr. PAXTON IS ALSO well regarded in the general medical community, always good to hear.

The only complaint I can make is the ADC appointments are usually really backed up. You need to make your next annual and semi-annual as you leave the office. Growing pains. This is after all Austin.

Dr. Paxton has been my primary care physician since I moved to Austin 7 years ago. I am about to turn 77 and thus have a few creaks, leaks and cracks. He is responsive and the type of doctor who will take the time to do what is right and necessary for his patient but without being overbearing. I can always get in to see him and he always listens, thinks and then recommends. In my opinion he utilizes the least disruptive solution to fix whatever my current issue is. If you are in need of a doctor and have the opportunity to utilize Dr. Paxton, do it!

I have been a patient of Dr Paxton since 2011. I remember my first visit he had stated how I had heard about him. I told him I read his review on the internet and he sounded like a good candidate and someone worth checking into. Then asked him if that was a problem.he said no, just wanted to know. He then asked me what I was looking for in a Doctor. I explained my experience with my past doctor and I wanted someone who would listen to me and explain what was my condition and not just walk in and write or give me samples and then just walk out, with see you in two weeks. He has been an excellent doctor and I have enjoy the relationship that he has with me as his patient. I have recommend him to my nephew because I know he is a caring individual and I trust my nephew would be in good hands with him.

Dr. Paxton has been my Primary Doctor since 2002; in 2010 I was transferred out of Austin, so I decided to find another doctor in Houston - I live closer to Houston now. But after several doctors I decided to go back to Dr. Paxton. I have to drive 200 miles round trip to see him, but I don't really mind. Dr. Paxton is very thorough in his examinations, he always listens to me and responds all my questions; he also asks questions about symptoms. He also has a nice sense of humor and he's been very patient with me. I must recognize that at times I am not an easy person to deal with. Dr. Paxton deserves an A+ all the way!

Excellent doctor that is friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He's been my doctor for 13 years and although I now live more than an hour away from his clinic, I wouldn't trade him for any other doctor.

Dr. Paxton had been my GP for years. He or someone from his staff has always responded to urgent requests and I've been looked after well for my general health.
