Super friendly staff! Reasonably priced second hand items. Store footprint is massive - and you’re going to need to plan for this accordingly to your target interest (s).

Very, very cool place. Unbelievable selection of books. Well-organized. It was like a maze that I could not seem to leave. Came away with 7 books for about $35. CDs, albums, DVDs, and yes - even cassette tapes. Definitely recommend.

Employee who had a black hat and all black outfit at the time of 4: 50, we were standing in line with everyone else when this employee came up and said “hey guys can we move the line over there to help with the flow of traffic just in case you can’t read that sign over there”. Kinda rude. Just following what everyone else is doing. Pretty cool book store though. Just wish rude employees didn’t work there.

This is an amazing place for a fun start of a date. At least that's what my husband and I did today. I think we spent about an hour there before we saw most of it. I grabbed two books. They have sooo many DVDs and CDs and records and the books are nicely divided by topic - music, history, gardening, movies, arts, travel books etc. They also have some t-shirts and collectibles.

Cool used books and the like. I enjoy history books and found the history section a bit overwhelming (not uncommon). Section was subdivided into some helpful categories. Found a few gems.

I love this bookstore! It's easy to spend hours here happily perusing the shelves. The staff are helpful, and there's always so many books to look through. This is truly a used book store, so you can expect good prices. While most of their stock is used books, they also have some rare books, as well as, of course, records, CDs, and videos. Also, since they're on the town square, there are other fun shops, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within walking distance. This makes it a great day trip. Parking can be tough though, so I usually park for free a short walk away at E Oak St and Oakland St, not far from East Side, The Bearded Monk, and Denton County Brewing Company.

Man i was super impressed by the space this place had. Room after room after room of books and puzzles and records and cds and dvds and VHS and tapes and from vintage Era items and toys including but not limited to, posters, cards like baseball, magic Yugio and anime figurines and magnets, painting, art, areas to sit and read and relax and the book selection is so extensive. There's upstairs down stairs. Its just amazing and located in such a Quaint cute little town. Very impressive. Must visit if in Denton

Huge, labyrinthian bookstore with an amazing selection of everything you could possibly want or need. Every topic that I could think of had at least a shelf devoted to it. They also stock CDs, records, tapes, DVDs. The list goes on. They also stock local music and artists. The employees have a lot of heart.

Recently re-visited this store while in town on business. It was definitely worth the time and the escape was priceless. Found some great vinyl and several movies not to mention some books that needed a new home.

The best place to visit in Denton. I nuke my book budget every visit. The selection is so amazing.

This place is full of nostalgia in many different way, and BUILDS nostalgia. All around great people working there, kind and polite and willing to share their love for the place. Being from SA, a business like this is hard to come by

Thus is the greatest treasure of Denton with its robust collections of books, music, toys, zines. Grab a coffee and go inside and disappear. The staff are some of the most interesting people I've met in Denton. Buy the book take the ride.

This bookstore has a massive selection, three stories worth of used and new books and all other kinds of media (including POGs, remember those!?).

Always fun to visit Recycled Books, I always find a book, movie or magazine I've been wanting at a great price.

I love that this place looks exactly the same as it did when I was in college 10 years ago. I enjoy visiting old spots, finding new ones, and being able to show my kiddos. We ended up buying a few dvds for our screens in the car. Road trip!

Love the treasures we find. Parking can be an issue sometimes but great place for books and music finds.
