I've taken at least 5 dresses over the last year for alterations, and every time I'm impressed by the friendliness and knowledge of the tailors as well as their quality of work. All work was done in a timely manner, even when I brought in items with short notice. Their prices are also very reasonable. Would highly recommend!

I’m confused as to how this tailor is still in business. The tailor is expensive and does a piss poor job. Im avoiding this tailor like the plague.

I’ve tried other tailors in the Oak Lawn area finally found Red Carpet Tailor. Their attention to detail is so appreciated. I’ll be taking all of my clothes there from now on, even though it’s a farther drive for me. I was so impressed that I even called them after I left to say thank you.

I worked with Johnny to get 2 pairs of slacks hemmed, let out, and tapered. He did an amazing job and had one of the quickest turn arounds with no extra charge. He really listens to what you want and makes sure you leave satisfied with the alterations at an affordable price!

Ishmael does incredible work, at great prices! He's friendly, professional, and fast. After experiencing the level of service that he provides and the personal touch he brings during each encounter, there is no one else in Dallas that I would rather bring my clothes to.

Great experience! I brought in two bridesmaids dresses for alterations and both were very well done. I was on a time crunch and he worked quickly and made sure I was happy before taking the dresses home. I would definitely recommend!

Took two suits for alterations to Red Carpet Tailor after researching different tailors in the Dallas area. The first suit required minimal changes and was altered well - I got several compliments at a wedding I attended shortly after. The second suit was by chance a size too big, requiring more significant alterations. After trying on the suit, I requested the pants be altered more, and the owner was willing to do it without any hesitations. I’m happy with the final product in both cases and especially with the quality of service I received, which was friendly and prompt.

Needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed pretty last minute and Ishmael was so quick to help and assure me he’d have it done in time. He exceeded my expectations with his work and was extremely kind in the process. Will be going back and sending anyone I know to him!

I’ve been here twice with a total of about 15 items, and both times he did a great job.

He’s very nice and I feel comfortable trusting him with anything I need.

I haven’t had any issues so I can’t speak to how he handles that, but I definitely recommend him based on why I’ve experienced!

Got a couple pairs of jeans taken in at the waist. They do fit but poor quality of work. He would not fix them or give a refund. I have gotten this done many times before at different places without any problems.

This review is long overdue. But I am so beyond happy with this tailor. I had the pleasure of doing business with Mr. Ishmael and he did such an amazing job! I needed a bridesmaid dress altered back in December in less than a weeks time and he worked so much magic! I’ve never had a dress fit so perfect. I’m a pretty short girl so there was many inches that needed to be hemmed off, the dress was also taken in a size. I got my dress back in less than a week and for his work and turn around time the price was perfect! I will definitely be going back!

Great tailor! The owner is a very nice personable guy and does an excellent job tailoring. He doesn't cut any corners and he charges a very fair price for the quality of his work. I am a very loyal customer now. Highly recommend!
